Recently my computer started bogging down with lag and would not defrag fully I ran virus checks and found over 80 warnings and about 7 viruses that were not there the week before. This thread I found while booty grabbing may well explain why I picked so many up with out my AVG picking up on it from the first!! Please read it and if you have children on gaia make sure they do to!!

When I first saw, I thought free Gaia Cash. However when I was doing my rounds I saw threads complaining about the viruses and spyware. That turned me off completely. To this day I will not go for free Gaia Cash and will stick to the safe cards from Target or Walmart.

I just found that thread yesterday through another source. I think this is absolutely horrible. Legal it may be, but it is NOT right!

Nothing is truly free. Before you sign up for anything, always read the fine print. I also never sign up for offers using my personal email account. I use a spam box that I made on gmail. I use the account mostly for one of my mule accounts anyway and it doesn't get used often. Just enough to verify offers and such that interest me. Even then, I am very skeptical. Thanks for the heads up though. One can never be too informed.

I found out about those the hard way on a different site, after doing some googling on the crag sherman (I think is the newish CEO for gaia) I understood why this happened here.

Sorry you had so many Stumble. I also started seeing the complaints quickly. I think I'm more upset that they'd lead kids to this crap.

I looked at it for a few minutes, but quickly realized it was a bunch of advertising and downloading stuff which immediately turned me off. I can buy cash through Paypal or pick up cards at the Targhay or Wally World (aka Target and Walmart).

When I first saw the free cash things I was like "cool but I won't do it" I looked through all of them to verify my choice and I found that the only one I would have done was the netflix as it was the only legitimate one worth trusting.

This is a very good thread to have as many have fallen prey to these things.
