Hello LSG. I have decided to post some art I have done over the years! I'm no where near being professional and am looking to improve, I feel that I have improved over the years but it happens so slowly.
Let me know what you think. Oh, and I do I guess what you would call "traditional art", aka, I don't have a tablet. But I want to get one/learn how to use one. I also wish I had a better scanner.

But alas, I also need some advice. I'm not sure if other people do this, but I ALWAYS, always, have to look off of something in order to draw. Most of these are either straight copied from a photograph or I have used aspects from different photos and added in my own DESIGNS and colours. For example: I stole the pose from a magazine for LeRavens art. I can't just draw a face from my mind if that makes sense. I'm told this is normal and good for practice but that I need to eventually start "drawing and painting from the mind", but I don't know how. I've never had classes or anything and I desperately need them.

it's completely normal to be able to draw better from photos, eventually if you do it enough you'll get the hang of drawing from memory. you just need to practice both.

edge is right also, try doing that and don't be put off if it doesn't look as good at first! you'll probably improve quickly once you get the hang of it. there are some great anatomy tutorials and stuff online.

i can't paint half as well as you can. and the legends one made me giggle. xD
