I'm planning on buying an iPod. Not sure if it will be vid or nano or classic tho. Having vids would be pretty cool, but I'd be using it more for music. Mom got a new stereo for the car so yeah.
I actually lost the old iPod that's why the new "stereo" scream got me into trouble. Now I have to buy an iPod.
What do you guys think?

ive got a samsung mp3 player and i find it works just fine for me. basically id suggest buying something with a screen. you dont really need one of those gimicy mini ipod things. you just want a regualr music player right? id go with samsung or a just regular ipod. that nano stuff is just a gimic to sell you someting flashy you dont need

The nano, you don't have a screen.
I recommend a music player with a screen so at least you know what song is playing and such.

I've only ever had my 30 GB iPod video. But it works wonderfully. But I bet if I put all the music I wanted to on it, I may not have enough room. XDD
Personally, I'd rather have a bigger screen.

I can't stand iPods. I tried out my sister's once because I wasn't sure if I wanted a Zune or an iPod. Literally I touched one button and the dumb thing froze for half an hour. I was like "f that" and went for a Zune. I like it a lot better, honestly. The buttons are a lot easier to figure out and the whole setup is a lot more intuitive. 3nodding

I'd go for a Zune; way more features than an iPod plus radio and wireless Zune to Zune sharing.

I have a nano 2nd gen.
If you'd like to just use it for music, maybe a nano, it has the video feauture there too.
Like the user above, a zune ain't so bad
and yes the screenless ipod is a shuffle, that's alright too if you just want to randomize your music w/o having to look through them and choose. Ph3nom requests for some art scribbles of his avatar.
