I want to know what you think of this. If you saw a manga on the shelves with slightly better art and the plot below, would you buy it? Fair warning, it is a yaoi-esk story.

The title is Black and White. The title is taken from a quote that Terri makes in the beginning of the manga which is, "I miss when things were simple. When everything was like the pages of my manga, just black and white."
The story follows Terri, a college dropout who is still living around the college campus, trying to make it as a manga-ka. Terri is gay and is head over heels for Nicholai who is going to the college Terri dropped out of. Terri, being hopelessly shy, has yet to even find out Nich's sexuality, yet in the meantime has steadily begun to like him more and more as they hang out. One night while out with Nich and ophelia, a small black and white cat shows up and follows Terri home. Terri takes in the poor thing and the cat transforms to reveal itself to be his guardian angel, sent to make him happy and even help him in his matters of the heart.
