RIP, Shelter Animals.

I have a difficult time coping when shelter animals die. I feel helpless, especially when my efforts to link the animal with a rescue fall through. I've decided to maintain this thread in memorial of the animals who die alone in shelters, through euthanasia or whatever other means. Anyone else is welcome to contribute. I just don't want them to be forgotten.

Dozer the Bulldog



A senior dog, about ten years old, whose elderly owner was unable to care of him any longer. He suffered from depression after losing his family, and died of a seizure shortly after his abandonment.

Trent got sick and died in a notorious Ohio high-kill shelter.

This one is for Choco-Bear. I don't have a picture and I don't know his circumstance. I just found him in a list of hundreds of dogs that were in one shelter. *sigh*

This is for all the puppies/kitties/any of the babies in the shelters whom didn't get to lead a long and full filling life.
