[PRP] The books say...(Phim/Cinna)

Cinna sat up from just being sick. She wiped her mouth. It had been a little while since the lovely night with the old fae's potion. She hadn't been feeling well. What was wrong with her? She had gained alot of weight and been sick alot.

Leitha had quite a few books and Cinna thought maybe one would have some information. She flipped through a few until she came across "What to Expect When Expecting" What did it mean? She flipped through and then dropped the book onto the floor when she realized what it meant. She sat in shock without moving.

Seraphim sighed, coming out from the back of the cave. He had been there since the morning after drinking that strange liquid. The angel didn't regret what he had done, but he had wondered exactly why he had chosen to do something so out of character..

It took him a minute to realize Cinna was sitting like a statue. Normally she was in her hiding spot when she had done something wrong.. Something big was going on. As soon as his mind reached the conclusion of something important he growled, looking at her. "What is it?"

The voice broke her from shock. Phim! She grabbed the book and put it under some others. She then laid them on her now bulging belly, to try and hide it. "Nothing, I was just reading." She smiled over at her mate. "Did you know rainbows come from light and water?" She said a random bit of trivia she saw in one of the books, it was dumb trivia but could be something she was shocked over.

He was wary, this couldn't have been over something as simple as rainbows and water. "Yes, now tell me what you're really stressed over." Of course he had noticed that she was a lot larger than normal, but he thought she was just eating a lot of candy lately. The angel didn't let her get out often enough to work that off...

"Don't lie to me Cinna."

She couldn't lie to him, she tried and she always gave herself away. She sighed and looked down. She took the books off her belly and then found the one she was reading. "I haven't been feeling well...and my belly...it's big! So, I read some books...this one says..." She hesitated before telling him. What would he say, what would he do to her. He never wanted this! "I'm pregnant..." She flinched as she waited for the inevitable abuse.

He growled at her response, but he had no choice but to believe it as the evidence was clearly there. His arm rose to strike her, but it fell down. Something was telling him that he couldn't punish her for this. it was as much his fault as hers, and he had told her if she wanted children he would allow her to have them.

even still he hadn't expected them so soon, he had expected them years from now when she thought she was safe. Not now. He was pissed, but that wasn't going to make him hit her. No she was carrying his spawn... Potentially great killers, maniacs, so much potential. Phim had gone from pissed to plotting in a matter of minutes. A smirk grew on his face as he caressed her stomach rather than hit her. Oh yes, if she didn't run he would put these blasted things to a good use.

Cinna waited for the beating that was sure to come. She even scooted back when she felt the hand reach out for her belly. She opened her eyes and saw Phim doing the exact opposite beating...he caressed it!

Cinna opened her eyes to look up at Phim. "Phim?" She put her hand over hers, being a bit brave. Why was he being nice? She deserved pain for what she did. "This old fae...she told me it was time...put stuff in the bottle...I'm sorry..." What else could she say? She shouldn't have trusted some old fae!

((After a few more posts should we let Noel and Aysu in here? Or do another rp with that confrontation?))

What was even more amazing was that he was smiling. Phim. Smiling. Something was very very wrong here. "Why apologize." He looked up, eyes narrowed some. The smile on his face while he wasn't bothering to hide his true self was rather creepy. It looked wrong, he shouldn't be doing it.

"You were offered these when we first met, it's about time you got something you wanted." Not minding the fact that he wanted to raise at least one of them to be even worse than he was. But for now, he would let her think he was happy about this. No he was still angry that she didn't ask beforehand, but if she was going to carry these things to full term... Oh yes, many many thoughts ran through his mind for their children.

(( Sure, but I'd rather not have them in the cave when Noel and Asyu come around. Phim wouldn't be too happy and he's already scary .o. ))

((How about a meeting point? Cinna/Phim come to share the news and Aysu/Noel come to confront and they meet in the middle? A new rp?))

Cinna shivered from the smile on Phim's face. It was abnormal. The only smile she ever saw was the fake one he gave others. This one wasn't fake! Did that mean he was happy by this news?

Cinna's smile joined his, "Thank you." She said...had she really wanted this? A baby with him? What if it turned out like him, or worse than him? What would she do...bringing a baby like that to this world? Maybe, it would be like her...yeah, like her! Then it would be sweet and innocent...nothing to worry about! Cinna resigned to that and her smile grew wider. She felt a few wet tears on her face that she hadn't even known had come out.

The answer to her thoughts, no he wasn't happy they were coming. He was still quite angry, but there was so much potential in these things that he couldn't pass it up.

An interesting thought passed his mind as he stood, wiping the small tears off her cheeks. "We should tell your mother." He had remembered that she was close to her family, where as he didn't really have one. Aside from the one he had created since Cinna came along. The angel figured it was better for the female and her mother if they were to tell her family. Easier to keep his cover at least.

"Mother? Yes, could we?" She would very much like to share the joy of this with her Mohter. Noel would be so happy! She was going to be a grandma now! Cinna smiled at Phim.

Cinna got up and wobbled, "Now?" Would it be ok...even in the storm? She wanted to go now, she needed the comfort of her Mother and Aysu..her other mother.

He laughed, helping her up. If she wanted to go this instant he wasn't going to stop her. "If you think you want to. It won't be too hard to get down the mountain, there are a lot of trees blocking the wind..."

Seraphim wrapped an arm around her waist, supporting her. She was rather large right now, he wasn't blind to that fact. It had been one of the reasons that he hadn't touched her since that night.

Cinna nodded, "Yes, ok." She held on to him and let him lead her out of the cave. "They have a house in the water by the beach." She hadn't seen it and really shouldn't have known about it but her mellon kept her appraised on such things.

"I know they'll be excited to have babies around!" She giggled feeling more herself than she had in a long time. She was happy and was going to enjoy this. If Phim lightened up then this was the best thing that could have happened!

They lived on the beach? In this kind of weather that thing had to have been blown down. He shook his head and pulled her close. There was a good chance she was going to get blown away. Phim looked at the pregnant female, only to be assaulted by the wind as they walked.

With a groan he stretched his wings, he was fairly sure the wind would take them where they needed to go, and sure enough they were lifted straight off the land and into the air. He didn't let Cinna complain about this, it was the quickest way to get to where they were going.

Cinna squeezed her eyes closed as the wind was really blowing. Why did she want to go in this weather? She just wanted to see her Mom before the baby was born. She needed reassurance.

She felt a thud as they landed right on the beach. Only a few yards from the blowing house on stilts. "That's theirs!" She shouted in the wind hoping Phim could hear.

Noel hand waded into the water and was swimming to the beach. When had this storm broken out? She felt the wind blow and rain drench her hair and skin. They had to find Cinna! Little did she know they were about to meet up on this very beach!

Noel swam and looked back at their house. She hoped it would stand up to this weather! They had spent so much time and energy and hadn't even spent the night in it yet.
