So, they are remaking Nightmare on Elm Street.
At first, I was really super excited.
Because Freddy is my favorite ever.
Then, I was a big sad because Robert Englund wouldn't be Freddy.
Then a bit excited because Jackie Earle Haley,Rorshach ******** yeah, will be Freddy.
I watched the Trailer, and was disappointed.
To the max.

That looks like every other young adult horror movie out there right now. Retarded.
I will probably see it but from the trailer, it just looks stupid.
Why change the face of such and iconic character? It's like putting a leaf blower on Ash's arm instead of a chainsaw. It's just stupid and doesn't make sense.

i am still super psyched that this movie is being made. i think i looks pretty good...not a young adult horror movie. unless you mean teenagers which is actually who slashers seem to be made for. either way this movie makes it so the three biggest slashers have been remade. first halloween (rob zombie is a genius), then Friday(derek mears rules...he's no kane hodder though) and now nightmare(go rorshach). and the new look is actually more realistic which is what the writers and directors are trying to go for in the reboots. plus sure the old face is iconic but they may have retired the old face with the now freddy-retired robert englund(he was actually offered the role...he turned it down). sports do it...its only the honorable thing to do

I'm a big fan of the Nightmare on Elm St. series and am actually going to give this a chance. They've remade everything else so why not Freddie? Honestly this film looks like a better remake than others. The new Freddie looks alot more creepier then Roberts version. But Robert Englund's version will have its own special flare. I hope the new guy can deliver some corny jokes as well as Robert could.
