~~ I've read what there is of the Manga. I liked it. One of my friends loves it, he's read them all. I think I need to start reading the book series as soon as I finish Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for my book club. ~~

You really should, they are awesome books. Iggy and Fang just knock Edward out of the running for hottest fictional character. IMO.

I've read up to the fourth one - The Final Warning. I thought it was a good series until 'save the Earth' came into it.......for me, I thought that just ruined a good portion of the series....

If this is the same series that I remember reading then I hated it. I started by reading When the Wind Blows and then The Lake House. Those two rocked. Maximum Ride had nothing on the beginning. Mostly because all the other awesome characters were missing. Especially Ic and Oz, they were my favorites.

OF COARSE I HAVE HEARD OF THAT ORGASMIC BOOK!
it's my favorite book of all time, did you know that the new book just came out last month? I am going crazy because I haven't had the chance to buy it yet. What do I like about it? EVERYTHING. a lot of my friends kinda rated ourselves to see what charater we are like most. I'm white, but everyone agrees I'm like nudge. I talk a lot... A LOT. and my aunt/best friend was like Max <3 and my friend antonio said he was like fang, we were like... in your dreams! me and korrena agreed he was like gazzy.

I'm currently reading the first one? xD I was surprised by how much I like it. Angel is such a sweetheart. I like Iggy and Nudge. I don't like Fang though. He bugs me. razz I'll probably like him later.

I love the series, and it was hard finding a better book, but hush hush's Patch can beat Fang any day of the week.
But Maximum Ride is one of my favorite books. Its an easy read too, and I read the whole series in under a week.

It threw me off on the whole save the world global warming thing, I think it was great before all that was added. I mean just fighting to survive against Erasers, Mr.Chu, Fly Boys, and all that jazz, would've just been great. But in the last book everyone was out of character and I hated it, I even stopped reading it and I didn't even bother finishing Fang, (even if my cousin was the one modeling as Fang on the cover I still won't finish it.) Fang: has become way to emotion and peppy in the last book, Total: is hardly ever mentioned in the book, Angle: is an arrogant brat and I hate her, Nudge: hardly any change in her area, Gazzy: lame power and hardly does anything, Iggy: not as sarcastic and not as awesome, Max: overly moody and clueless. (deleted spoiler was here) It's supposed to be an action like book not a drama book. But that's my own opinion, plus when it becomes a movie I'm going to be pissed, great books+movie= annoying fangirls, bad movie, books not as good. My advice if you really like the first books skip Fang.

Fang was a good book, I suppose. I was actually disappointed a bit, to say the very least. I wanted action, but all I got was a split up flock. Angel needs to be killed, end of story. She is a total brat, and I cannot stand her. And Dylan...the perfect version of Fang basically, I don't like him very much. And all this Global Warming stuff, it really has nothing to do with the original story line. They were meant to save the world from the apocalypse, not to remind people to recycle. I myself have to agree with Epic Bubblezz, the story has become too much about Drama...then about Action. I hope the next book will be an improvement...I hope.
