*While his Dolce Cosa sleeps all snuggled up to him as they sit on the dock, he precariously places the fishing rod leaning up against his chair. With one arm securely around her, he uses his now free hand to careful take out his iPhone, scroll through, and select an app to gain access to the internet. He finds a website for a local aquarium. There is one a few towns over. Particularly looking at the times they are open, he bookmarks it and will place that call later when they are open. cool
He knows there is probably no shark in this lake. If there is, the likelihood would be so slim that if this were a horse track he wouldn't even place a bet. But here she is with her heart set on a shark pal for the saltwater one she bought in Australia. Never mind the fact a freshwater shark would die when placed into the tank at the JD filled with salt water. For her…that isn't the point.
He smirks to himself and looks down upon the top of her head resting upon his shoulder so peacefully. Its at times such as this that confirm to him she is his soul mate, finding her quirky, eccentric, demanding ways completely adorable and he loves every minute of it. The adventures he has with her are the very best adventures he experiences. She brings a richness to his life and she fills it. Never a dull moment, he's always happier with her. He finds himself wanting to take care of her and he'd gladly give her anything or see to it that she gets everything she wants out of life. He loves her…he always has.
As the sun rises, he finds it very peculiar some waiter would bring out 2 freshly made latte's when he didn't even ask for anything. And he has to move in order to take them which wakes his sleeping Dolce Cosa. Her expression puzzled at first as she awakens, but changes to sheer joy when he hands her that latte and she grins sweetly at him. She's just beautiful with her messed up hair, fishing coveralls she complained all night about and her expensive no doubt designer sable coat. He wouldn't change one single thing about her.* heart

*Shaken from her reverie by the sound of Pierre's voice echoing in her head, she shakes away the memories and heads over to Kathy's. As she enters, she notices Pierre has added a library on the 2nd floor.* "He wouldn't," *she thinks.*
"Of course not," *his voice rings in her head* "The books you are seeking would never linger with those..." *waves his hand dismissively* "how would you call it... reading materials..." rolleyes
*Before she can say more, his words whisper in her mind,* "Don't worry, Lil, after all these years in our new home, we have become quite adept at tuning out all the thoughts coming at us." *He sighs,* "Though I can't say it wasn't challenging. The creatures here are a bit louder than we were accustomed to." sweatdrop
"And some things, -some- things were not meant to be over heard..." gonk
*He leads her to his office and holds the door open. As the door clicks shut behind them, he sighs with relief and returns to his natural form. He unlocks a hidden cabinet revealing a fairly large closet filled with books. His snake-like golden eyes glow softly, as he turns to Lil. As he's more comfortable communicating telepathically, his words echo in her head and she responds in kind.*
What exactly are you looking for? While I'd sealed, locked, or otherwise shielded my office from humans, other demons, immortals, or nearly any other form of other-worldly creatures, apparently it is not Ghost-Proof. *Her foot swings in annoyance* stressed
*He nods, then turns his attention back to his personal "library". As he reviews the books on the shelves, Brat studies him. She knows he has extended considerable trust to let her see him as he is, and not the "human" shape he and the others take when anyone can see them. Perhaps this trust comes from her willingness to trust him. She trusted Jack, and even if the Coyote man would not discuss what had occurred to bring Pierre and the others to seek refuge in Geezerville, if Jack trusted them, it was good enough for her.*
