Lately I've been readin the Vampire Academy Series and I started to like them. A LOT. I used to be a Twilight fan but ever since I started readin the Vampire Academy Series I got addicted to them and just can't stop readin them :] Now I prefer Vampire Academy Series over the Twilight Series. Sorry Twilight fans!
In my opinion Edward is just weird and he just looks all freaky and all that..but gosh Dimitri looks like God just like Rose describes him. DUDE! Dimitri even kicks asses better then Edward!
So now I was wondering who else feels the same as me! :]

If you're a die hard fan the way I am of Vampire Academy, you will be kind of dissappointed at the ending of Blood Promise. She's making another one called Spirit Bound, but I think she's stretching the series out too much. It should've ended with Blood Promise but...I guess not. >.< I loved the series. And seriously, Edward is sparkly and beautiful. Face it ladies, he's not a vampire, he's a freaking fairy! Dimitri so kicks a** wayyy better than Eddie-Poo. I like VA a little better, but I'm slowly but surely losing my respect for Richelle Mead (the author). I seriously think she's stretching the series. >.<

Well, I've never been a twihard. I read the books, but couldn't understand the obsession. As I was reading New Moon, my friend was reading the first one, Vampire Academy. Since I'm the quickest reader in my school (no lie, that was the thing under my name in last years yearbook...) I kinda stole it from her. She didn't like them too much, but then again, she doesn't like books much. I became a die hard vampire academy fan after I read Frostbite. Which was on a whim. I loved the first one, but wasn't going to read the rest. Then we were on vacation and I got sick, so my dad bought me a book, and it just so happened to be Frostbite. That freaky kids name is Christian. I heart him!!!

I read the first book, but gave up on the series after that. It just seemed like a rip off of Twilight to me. And I didn't like Twilight enough in the first place to want to read it again.

I'm so a VA fan. I got hooked after reading them on Christmas Eve. Frostbite was I think my favorite, but I kinda hate the whole ghost thing in Shadowkiss. Blood Promise was pretty good, but I'm kind of hoping the series will end with Spirit Bound. IN Blood Promise I like how Avery uses complusion like that, but I hate how now there's so many Spirit Users. -.- I hope Dimitri turns Damphir again-somehow- in Spirit Bound 'cause he's so hot!

First, Harry Potter > Twilight, no contest. xD
Anyhoo, yeah, I love this series. I love how all of the characters have these vibrant, strong, realistic personalities. Agreed, love Christian. =) And Rose's personality.
But I think Rose should be with Adrian now... Dimitri's Strigori, dude. (Haven't read Spirit Bound yet... going to start it tonight! ;D ) If Mead manages to turn that around, it would do enough damage to the series that I'd probably STILL not want him with Rose. xD
Oh, and I agree with the comment that Spirit Bound might be stretching the series. It probably should have ended with Blood Promise, but I'm just glad I have another book to read. *snuggles up with book*
