The giant canopies basking the earth below in a beautiful, often mist coated shade. The leafy foliage below, clinging to the sides of massive tree trunks. Fern and shrub alike. The pawsteps of a mouse as it scurries from pools of water to den, hoping to avoid the keens eyes of predators. The distant whoot of an owl, deep throated and almost eerie in its rich sound. The full moon, its light radient, silver and magestic yet always with a certain allure or pull. Wise and enigmatic. Hitting the leafy limbs of the massive trees and sending a dappled light to hit the forest floor below. Like the shifting coat of a wildcat. An inky sky blankets the night, littered with gem-like stars. And yet below, a silence overtakes the world. A careful silence as though something powerful and ancient stalks the lands guided by moonlight and birthed in myth. A pack with pelts of the moons liquid silver/white and the blue of the ring that appears when the night has frozen. A pack of the Moon.

We are the children who sing the myths of old and hunt in the light of the Moon Goddess glow.

12/19/05: The new thread is up and running! Sorry for the delays everyone but it's here! Make sure you roleplay and have fun. n-n heart Also, to help show what news is current and what isn't I'll post a little letter; {N} in bolded italics for New, and {O} in italics for Old.

Roleplay News/Events:

{N} Matsi and Kamots have gone to speak with the Pack of the Sun. Until they return the pack must work together to keep strong. Gould has been banished and will not be allowed to run or participate in the pack any longer. He is more or less dead.

{O} Gould has won the fight, but his fate is still to be decided amongst the pack. Everyone, this is an important roleplay in the packs future. Please make sure your active or at least get the chance to post every now and again. n-n Also, if you haven't voted please do so as soon as possible.

{O} All right, the fight shall commence over a period of time and turns taken when the fighters are on. I'll ask that all pack members refrain from posting until the fight is over. Since this fight has already begun, the Visionary will not speak, since it is a rather sudden fight and such a historic moment should be saved. A dice roll will decide who goes first. So, this is how the fight will run:

Syr and Kinu will roll, the highest number is the first to attack.

{O} Gould has returned to be greeted with hostility. A fight has erupted and a new Dance begun. This dance will soon be moved to the Werewolf Battle Territory thread in the Faekats Battle Arena. A link is provided below. Though it is not yet open for spectators or fighters just yet.

Dance of the Alpha's: A literal, all out brawl of adult only males. The pack decides a date and place, always during full moon, and the pack travels to the location as one. The females and un-eligible males form a circle and the Visionary speaks recites the written law. When it reaches the appointed time the chosen males begin the dance. Fighting until only one is standing. The point is to wound the others without being nicked. If the male is bleeding he is disqualified and is cast out from the Dance. The winner is the last wolf standing without injury. After he has won the pack officially recognizes him as Alpha by his howl and a returned howl from the pack in unison. Recognizing him as fit to lead.

Dance of the Beta's: This is an event which takes place directly after a male has won the Dance of the Alphas. When an Alpha is chosen the eligible, adult females enter the circle. No laws are spoken and the attack begins immediatly. The last female without injury is then made Beta and claimed by the new Alpha.

Bio: Rakaeba has a strong sense of nobility, where he gained such a thing is unknown as he grew up without guidance. Though he can be hot headed on occasion he is extremely loyal to his pack and cares for their well being greatly. Yet Rakaeba isn't quite sure if he wishes to become Alpha in the future or not, given the choice. The male can often break rules if his gut or heart tells him different and having roamed widely as a young wolf he knows their territory extremely well. Even if he loves his family dearly he is more and more becomming a ghost wolf. It wasn't rare to find him missing for weeks at a time though he always returned and always to the same sickening scene. Their pack in shambles. Currently he is trying to be useful and help his family rebuild their legacy as wolves of the Moon. Yet the call of the wild is an ever alluring mistress.



Ya'kima is a strong willed Memeber of the Moon Pack. She is a daughter of the elder Matsi and the Alpha, Gould. Like her mother Ya'kima looks to divination for guidance, However she looks to the stars and the corse of the moon instead of a crystal ball. She is disgraced by the current state of the pack and has been trying to get the pack untited once more for the lack of their leader. She is wary of the Uninon of the Sun and Moon pack, for she has never seen a Sun pack memeber, for all they know that pack could be in worse state then there own, or their alpha may not help them in the absence of their leader.
