Welcome to Faerie's Casino! Come on in and explore the games we have to offer here! We are currently offering two games, Geezer Poker (see Posts #2 and #3) and BlackJack/21 (see Post #4). And finally, Post #5 will soon contain our new game to be debuted in the near future.

At the beginning of each month, you can place your bets/Antes with me to enjoy a whole month's worth of gaming for any or all of the games of your choosing. We do not have a public bar here at my casino, but once you take your seat at any of our games, one of our NPC Cocktail Servers will soon be there to take your order for any complimentary drinks of your choosing.

All I ask is that you make yourself familiar with the rules for each of our games. Then you may have a seat and experience your gambling desires by playing any or all of our games. If you are lucky, at the end of each month you may win one or more of the prizes we have to offer. So in the meantime, I hope you enjoy our selection of casino games! 4laugh

It's time to play ...
Geezer Poker!

How to play Geezer Poker:

1. Ante Up! This game costs 2,000 Gold to play. There is a time factor with this monthly game (See Rule #7), so the sooner you pay, the more you can play! Send a trade to Faerie KatrinaZ and label it "Geezer Poker". I may not be online when you start your trade, but you can start playing any time after that. After your trade is complete, your name will be added to the list of eligible players who are qualified to win prizes. See Post #3 for list of eligible players. Note that your paid ante's will be applied towards the next months prizes.

2. Roll 5, 10-sided dice and look at the numbers that show up. Can you make a poker hand out of the numbers?

3. Limit of 5 rolls per day. We don't need this thread to be overwhelmed with pages upon pages of multiple rolls from a few overly enthusiastic players.

4. Winning hands are as follows: 1 Pair (ex: 1,1,2,3,4); 2 pairs (ex: 1,1,2,2,3); 3 of a kind (ex: 1,1,1,2,3); Straight (ex: 1,2,3,4,5); Full House (ex: 1,1,1,2,2); 4 of a kind (ex: 1,1,1,1,2); and 5 of a kind (ex: 1,1,1,1,1). Also, your High Card (highest number card in addition to winning hand) will establish the best hand. NOTE: The Poker numbers will be 1 through 10 only. There are NO Suits (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds or Clubs), NO Aces and NO Royalty involved in this game.

5. If you roll a winning hand, send me a PM with the page number within 24 hours to qualify. Please double check that your hand with high card has beaten the winning hand in that category before sending me a PM. See Post #3 below for the list of best hands with high card to beat.

6. Prizes: See below for prize list. The winning hand with high card in each category wins the prizes listed below at the end of the game. In the event of a tie, there will be a drawing to determine whose hand wins.

7. This game will be held during the month of October, 2010. The last day to play will be Sunday, October 31st, and our winners will be announced on Monday, November 1st. If all goes well and we get enough participants interested, we will hold the game again in another month soon to follow.

8. By all means, chat it up with other players! Playing alone is just fine, but playing amongst friends is so much more fun! Please follow ToS and keep it PG-13. No flaming, spamming, begging or page stretching.

9. Donations are acceptable and will help pay for prizes for the next months games. Please send a trade to Faerie KatrinaZ and label it "Poker Donation". See Post 5 below for updated donation list. Thank you! heart

~ BLACKJACK/21 ~

How to play BlackJack/21:

1. BlackJack/21 has an Ante of 2,000 Gold. This game will also be held during each month (see Rule #8 below). Send your Ante in a trade to Faerie KatrinaZ and label it "BlackJack". You can start playing any time after you start your trade. After your trade is complete, I will post your name on a list of eligible players who are qualified to win the Jackpot Prize at the end of the month. See below for the list of Eligible BlackJack/21 Players. See Rule #5 for prize information.

2. Roll two (2), 10-sided dice. If you roll a 10 and a 1 (with the 1 being equal to 11) you have a winning BlackJack hand totalling 21! If you did not roll a 10 and a 1, you have the option to roll an additional one (1) 10-sided die. If you opt to take that 2nd roll, it must occur right after your last roll and you must state "Hit Me" in your 2nd post for that hand. Add those two posts together to see if your hand totals 21 to win. Reminder: The number 1 can equal 1 or 11.

3. If you roll a winning hand totaling 21, send me a PM with the link and/or page number within 24 hours of your winning hand to qualify. For every BlackJack/21 you roll, your name will be added to the list of winning hands, increasing your chances to win the Jackpot Prize. See below for the list of Winning BlackJack/21 Hands.

4. Limit of 5 Hands per day. Each "hand" consists of one or two rolls, depending on the usage of the Hit Me Option. The BlackJack numbers will be 1 through 10 only, with the 1 equaling either 1 or 11. There are NO Suits (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds or Clubs), NO Aces and NO Royalty involved in this game.

5. Jackpot Prize: At the end of the month, there will be an RN Drawing for the Jackpot Prize. The Jackpot will consist of 1/2 of the paid Antes from each player. The other 1/2 of the paid Antes will go to the House to help cover costs of any other prizes awarded in this thread.

6. Cheating by deleting posts to better your chances of winning will NOT be tolerated! If I find out that an eligible player has deleted posts in here, s/he will be banned from playing any further games in this thread. Should you roll the wrong dice or forget to roll, just edit that wrongful post to indicate your error, then roll correctly in your next post. I really would hate to start a Blacklist, so please play fairly. And by all means, I hope you have fun!
