I really love baking, but nothing ever turns out right!
Even the pre made things somehow turn out bad.
My step mom let me make pork chops once.
I got up in the morning made them then after school put them in the oven
When it was time for supper they where terrible : (
We like to put shake and bake in a lot of things for some reason.
These pork chops where so dry the shake and bake came right off. DX

Wow. Sorry if this is mean, but I find this a little funny..... I think you should keep trying though. For me when ever I bake I burn myself. Every single time, but I still enjoy cooking! ^ ^

Experiment. That's my cooking motto. I currently have meat soaking in a mixture of things I found in the spice rack and the fridge. I'm not too sure if it will come out right and if it doesn't, I have Pizza Hut on speed dial for a reason. sweatdrop

Lol.... nice! I have to suffer and eat what my mom makes *Shudders* once she made meatloaf with cheese and greenolives in it. It looked better then it tasted.

Gotta love Pizza Hut and speed dial. I've had so many things go wrong in the kitchen... I'm not even going into the time the dog was set on fire....

OMG!! Wow. I have a story of one time when I burnt myself. Once I was camping with my girl scout troup and we were cooking on tincans. Well when we put the butter on the top of the can was suposed to sizzle. Mine wasn't sizzling so I decided to touch it. Not a smart thing to do on my part. I burnt two of my fingers, but luckily we had hand sanatizer that had aloe in it. I had really clean fingers the whole time. XD

❝maybe try cooking with a crock pot?
set it up and get it cooking in the morning.
and by the time dinner comes around
it's ready to eat.
hard to mess that up. if you need recipes
i have a butt load of them.❞

I learned a trick with baking food like pork chops or chicken breasts, both of which can get very very dry in the oven... start them in a pan fry first. After marinading (which will tenderize) sear the chops (or chicken) on both sides over a medium-low heat until browned, then put them in a pan and bake for 10 minutes. This will seal in the juices and make that yummy outer crisp! 4laugh

If you really don't like cooking, I know a recipe for DELICIOUS cookies that don't require any baking. They're easy to make, excpecially in winter. I currently can't remember how much of what you use, however... (You'll need chocolate, butter, a microwave safe med. bowl, cookie sheet, cold place (not very far below freezing, garage in winter works well), an ice-cream scoop, wooden spoon, and corn flakes)

~Get x ammount of chocolate and x ammount of butter and put them in a microwave-safe medium sized bowl.
~Melt them in the microwave for x.
~Pour x ammount of corn flakes in bowl.
~Mix with wooden spoon until completely covered.
~Use ice-cream scoop and make balls of the chocolate covered corn flakes and put on cookie sheet.
~Put in cold place until hardened.

It's a german recipe, translated in English to 'Chocolate Crispies'. In german, it's like 'Choco Cousies' or something like that. I don't know how to spell it, I don't speak/write german. xP
