Veoh movies

Not all the videos you see on google video are available as full movies. You only get 5 minute snippets and are told you have to download the veoh web player and start an account. Starting an account is easy but the downloading the web player is a nightmare as the site does not appear to provide the download link!!

Dont worry, I found it. It requires 10mb of space but its worth every KB for what you get out of it.

And oh yeh... The best bit is ITS FREE!!! There are no catches either like sneakily changing your homepage or infecting your hard drive with tracking cookies. I checked!

Not sure I would label Zeitgeist a "myth busting" movie, given that it actually has some false information, but that aside this seems kind of fun.

I debated whether to vote thriller or horror... I like them both, but I think I favor thriller over horror.

Thats interesting. What information are you referring to?

I haven't seen the second one, but in the first one they give known false information in the religious section, which makes me question some of the information in the other sections. For example, it claims the story of Jesus is apparent through various religions. When trying to point out that the story of Krishna was similar, it claimed that Krishna was born in December, which is completely false. Anyone who is Hindu could tell you that Janmastami {that is, the celebration of the appearance of Krishna... the day He was born} is during summer... usually in August. Additionally, He did not have 12 disciples, though the practice of having disciples to begin with is a common practice in Hinduism. I do not remember what else it said because it has been a long time since I've seen it.

There was a thread in serious conversations about the movie a while back as well in which someone pointed out that a lot of the information it gave in regards to the religion of ancient Egypt was also false, so it is not like Hinduism was the only exception.
