Well I haven't really done anything on this guild yet and it made me a little sad so I decided to ask for some critique.. I used the best picture I have on photobucket.. it's definantly not my best but my scanner is out of comission so yeah anyway I know that there's quite a bit wrong with it ...the hair is horrid for one .. (..jeez ..o.o') so please critique ^^' Thanks! mrgreen

especially in the guys face, you need to proportion the eyes better. and to go even more in depth, you should vary shades of a color to add effect to the hair

The girl's cheek looks like it's been dragged down over her jaw and stapled to her neck. The forearm areas of her sweater look too baggy maybe. The depth on the hand/forearm near her chest doesn't seem to be shown too well. I think she'd mostly look fine if the cheek/neck thing was fixed. For the guy, his collar seems too tight to me... like, skin tight. If you tilt your head to match his, you'll probably notice the problem with the eye alignment. It could be your style, but I think he looks weird without the white part of his eyes. He has no eyebrows. The top-left of his hair looks like it might not entirely cover his head shape, or it would be very tight around there, which I find odd since the rest of his hair is more poofy than that. His nose... is that a nose ring, a nostril, or something else? Whatever it is, it should be more clearly defined. His buttons almost seem like they're right on the line, which can't be 'cause then they wouldn't be attached to the clothes, so they'd just fall off. Rather than "connecting the dots" and then forming the line around the buttons, I'd have the line connect about the outter edges of the buttons without dipping in at all, or doing so in a smoother fashion.

Oh wow I didn't even notice the button and hair.. and the eyes.. yeah I dunno what I was thinking ^^' Thanks a lot! greatly appreciated I'll work on all of that next time!

The eyes should be placed closer and the girl's right eye is bigger than her left eye. The drawing is pretty good.
