Werewolf Battle Territory [Faetasia]

Along a winding path, tread by many paws over thousands of generations of Werewolf, up into the forests which grew thicker with each breath. Moving into the heart of territory, higher, closer to the mountains which loomed in the distance like massive giants. Over-looking sacred ground held in high respect and spoken of in many tales told by Werewolf brethren and laced in many of their songs and prose. The trodden dirt path suddenly spilled out into a large, circular clearing, surrounded by thick, dense trees. The clearing itself massive in size and smooth, orbital, like the moon itself. The earth practically exhaled wisdom, myth and the tale of dances long past seen. This place of ancient descent, where the moon shines brightly down upon it without marring from passing clouds or obstruction of any kind. The place where packs are made and power is shifted from paws to paws. Where blood is spilled and death encountered. This is the Battle Territory of the Werewolves.

Important Information.

Dance of the Alpha's: A literal, all out brawl of adult only males. The pack decides a date and place, always during full moon, and the pack travels to the location as one. The females and un-eligible males form a circle and the Visionary speaks recites the written law. When it reaches the appointed time the chosen males begin the dance. Fighting until only one is standing. The point is to wound the others without being nicked. If the male is bleeding he is disqualified and is cast out from the Dance. The winner is the last wolf standing without injury. After he has won the pack officially recognizes him as Alpha by his howl and a returned howl from the pack in unison. Recognizing him as fit to lead.

Dance of the Beta's: This is an event which takes place directly after a male has won the Dance of the Alphas. When an Alpha is chosen the eligible, adult females enter the circle. No laws are spoken and the attack begins immediatly. The last female without injury is then made Beta and claimed by the new Alpha.

Questions and Answers:

Q: How will a Werewolf match be decided if winning is determined by drawing blood?

A: HP, or Hit Points. When the wolves fight, using the dice system, when one wolf has reached 0 HP he will be considered nicked and blood exposed. Thus rendering him the loser.

Q: What if there are multiple males/females fighting for the position?

A: If this is the case everyone will be numbered. The Alpha being number one. He will go up against each wolf in turn. If he loses then the victor takes his place and fights the remaining numbers. If that male loses then the new victor takes his place and continues fighting in order. Until only one is left standing.

As for females each female will be numbered, a dice roll will determine who fights first, the winner then fights another challenging female until she is either defeated or the winner.

Instead, where the commentator usually posts I will just make an update on the fighters Stats. Please refrain from too much OC use, this needs to be a clean fight. Now, if both fighters would please roll a 1D10-}

Reaching the edge of the large, circular grounds. Just exiting the thick expanse of forest, Rakaeba tilted his head to the heavens. Letting forth a long, chilling howl of praise to the moon. A howl for blessing, for wisdom and of respect for the sacred earth of their ancestors. The fire in his eyes burned as he moved out across the chilling expanse to the far side and turning. The large, orbital moon illuminating everything in an enigmatic glow that struck the fur of her closest children, causing the color to dance and shift beautifully. His canines bared, clicking his teeth in rage as he growled, an icy, ripping growl. His heart beat a steady rhythm against his rib-cage as he awaited his opponents arrival and that of his family. This was the night, in the morning all would be settled and it would be done so, by the light of their sacred moon.

Gould padded in to the battle grounds. He recognised it well, the trees were stained deep with the blood of othes. He impself had sent his father the way of their ancestors here. it was their way. He breathed heavily letting out a long steamy breath in to the wind "I'm glad to see you have grown up my son, at least you are not a coward akin to the death pack you will guide this pack wellone day." He lifts to his claws then the wind blowing through his fur shifting the pure white mass against his rippling mucles underneath. His claws dug in to the snow as he awaited the first call for attack, he was ready even if he did walk away never to return at least he knew his pack would be taken care of, even if they did think he didn't love it.

The fur on gould's neck rose on end and he let loose a long sombre song as he moved ready for action now, he could see the hatred for him in his sons eyes, hatred was good, it fueld ambbition, gould wouldn't go easily.

Rakaeba heard his fathers song and narrowed his eyes, listening to the words as they drifted. His heart thumped heavily in his chest as he watched the male before him enter the circle. The sound of the wind drove him onwards, his spirit singing to him like the blood in his veins. He felt the earth beneath his feet and the sky above. The world singing its song, the song of the night, the song of the moon and the song of battle.

Goulds tail lashed behind him as he circled the other male his dark, knowlegable eyes watchinghis son. he saw the same spark he had as a youngster, he had once before left the pack to see the world, if his pup took the pack, he would never see the world and much was the pitty it was an amazing place. perhaps it was gould's time but the joy of battle sang in his ears the moon danciingon his pelt he was ready.

At last the large male attached using Werewolf Claws his fangs were barred his eyes dark and dangerous he hoped to end this swiftly a dire hit would put his son in certain straights.
