Gould's tail lashed as he dashed at his ambitious son once again his tail out flat his fangs barred, he would use his special attack again in the hopes of dealing him a blow deadly enough not to be able to attack again, the gods willing he was still strong enough to lead this pack after this deadliest of battles.

He hit the ground hard, he could feel the pain shoot through him. Lighting his veins on fire, growling and getting to his feet. Shaking his fur free of the earth and rounding on the larger male.

Finding strength he launched at his father, his claws already unshiethed as he latched onto the bigger male and drug his claws along the spine. He wanted to take care of those he loved, protect them. His heart beat wildly in his chest as he narrowed his eyes and gave a sharp breath. Plumes of mist rising in the air as the battle raged.

Gould turned his cheek at the attack, Bopunding away from his son once mroe he growled softkly, he wasn't hurt, at least not as much at the errant youngster, he only needed one mroe attack he could smell the blood in the youngsters veins now. he licked his lips, one more attack.

Gould's ears perked up as he listend to the wind rustling his shaggy fur. let trhe gods guide me. he whispered to himself his cool eyes fixed upon the youngster.

Gould's ears flattened once more as he went for the attack his fangs barred, this copuld be it, this one bite could end it all. he could smell the blood, gods guide him to victory.

Panting heavily as he watched the form of his father, he felt the teeth latch onto his flesh and the warm trickle of blood escape as he fell, hitting the ground as a plume of dust rose around his fallen body. Trying to use his legs in vain to push himself upright. Yet, he couldn't. Defeat claimed him and he stayed down a moment, unable to take any other course of action. The wind russled the hackles along his back and he closed his eyes a moment, breathing heavily before eyeing the sky above and the glorious moon. He'd failed, failed his family, wounded his pride and now he couldn't even stand. Yet his heart beat softly in his chest and he prayed a silent prayer to both God and Goddess of Werewolf and Moon. A prayer for the Pack.

Gould stood over his defeated son, he smiled no mroe his face was sombre, his eyes dark though not dangerous. He had a right to kill this pup. But he wouldn't Exile would be worse for him, he knew that exiled from the family he adored. His ears flattened and he breathes softly. Experience had taught him much over the years. Be kind and merciful to your oppinants and they would respect you "See the world my son" he whispered ebfore raising his head, hsi nose touching the sky so to speak as he let out his long mournful wolf howl, his eyes closed a tear rolling down his cheek. One day this pup would return and his place would be in danger again and on that day he knew he would have a fit rival and a leader to trust the pack to. His song continued on a long, quiet song a preyer to the moon, a blessing to the god of wolves as he awaited the rest of the pack to join in his song. He had wont he right to rule, it was tradition.

Ya'kima did not howl, she sat motionless for a long time, her bright blue eyes narrowed into small slits. After a moment she gave a yip and rushed down to meet with Rabaeka. She nudged her brother softly, He'd been more family to her than this alpha.. She spoke not a word to him, her face was gaunt and she slowly nudged Rebaeka. This was not the end and she knew it, the pack was not so welcoming as Gould wished, and many didnt veiw his return as a good thing. Where the pack would go from here she didnt know, but she thought matsi had said something about a Vote. She sat down Loyaly by Rebaeka's side, and glanced over at the others. What where they feeling now?
