[PRP] Children at play

Eclipse found himself taking Eos for a walk in the forest. He wanted to take her out and see if the two of them could bond. So far his daughter didn't like him much and now that she discovered her power she liked to try and flee away from him. This was not good as he worried for her.

Eos was walking with her father rather slowly. She wanted to get out of his cloud of darkness that followed him. She hated it. The girl missed her big brother Apollo who made the light which made her happy.

Silently sitting in a lush tree, the young boy was alone. He always was. A saddness was plagued all over his being; mostly of rejection. It was the same thing, everyday. Always alone, and always sad. He sighed, and twirled the bare flower stem in his fingers. A leg dangling off the branch, the other bent, his elbow proped up and supporting his head, he was an image of deppression.

Eos tried to find her way into the light so then she could try her power out and get away from her daddy. As she did so she noticed something in a tree. She wasn't sure what it was and headed over.

She looked up and smiled. "Hello."

Eclipse watched as he daughter left his side. "Please don't go too far. Just so where I can see you." This was the best he was going to get, he figured.

His little ears moved slightly at the call. Looking down with silver eyes, slighty watered, he saw the little girl. Pulling back, nervously, he waved a shy hand to her from his roost up top. Did... did she want something from him? He really didn't have much to give. Not only did he not know his power, but the only thing he had on him was this pathetic little flower stem and a fresh peach fruit.

Eos smiled up at the boy. "Whatcha doing up there?" She asked him. The girl wondered if she had climbed it or flew. She hadn't flown much yet. Her wings were a bit different to use then normal fae wings. Not that it bothered her. She liked haven't them.

Eclipse walked over to a different tree and sat down. He watched her from there making sure she didn't get into any trouble.

Giving a small shrug, he slid back a little so as the girl could not see his watery eyes. Wiping an arm to them, he looked away, and huddled his knee's back up. His head hid behind them, and his wings wrapped around his little frame. The devilish tail curled around his ankles as well.

Eos watched as the boy didn't say anything back to her. That was odd, she thought. It was a nice warm sunny day and she was happy, so wasn't he?

The little fae used her wings and tried to float up to where he was. The bow-wings didn't give her enough lift so she fell back down on her rump. "Ouch."

Perking up a little at her voice again, he peeked down. Her attempt to fly had failed, and the form of her wings made him curious. Tilting his head slightly, he leaned over more. Frowning, he slid his eyes to the side in thought. Sighing, he stood up, and lept down from the branch. Using his wings to help him carefully glide down, he landed before her. Putting his hands on his hips, he frowned at her, and tilted his head. "Whadda you want...?" he mumbled.

Eos looked at the boy and smiled. "Um... I don't know. I'm Eos. What's your name?" She didn't really want anything...she was just trying to meet someone new. That and get away from her father's darkness.
