hi....i would like some help on what i need to learn~

ok, just to tell you all...im teaching myself because my school does not offer a japanese class. i learned how to say the numbers in japanese and learned the kanji for them....i also learned how to say good-morning, mom, dad, idiot, s**t, thank you, are you ok?, sister, and brother in japanese (learned how to say these words by watching anime in sub instead of dub like i used too). i would like to know what else do i need to learn besides kanji and if there a site that i can learn stuff for free....i found this Kanji Dictionary Online (http://www.saiga-jp.com/kanji_dictionary.html). so please help me~
