Thanks. I've just been feeling like a loser these days. Today cinches it. cry Seems like I can't do anything right. But I'll manage. I always do. I have no friends in real life. They all abandoned me because I graduated before them. We just drifted apart, and they let this girl who hates me into their ranks and she poisoned them against me. I really thought that these were people I would be best friends with for the rest of my life, since I met them during my first year at uni and we were together until my grads in '08.

Oh dang... I know this problem well. I lost one of my best friends in the whole world this last year because we allowed the people we were dating to come between us. She ended up marrying the person she was with, though. (I guess she got the better part of the deal.) I, also, lost any other person that was connected to her for unknown reasons. I don't know whether they were only my friends because she was my best friend or what, but they all just kind of dropped off the edge of the world when she and I were no longer friends. I have maybe one person that I can still call a friend in the real world, but that person doesn't really have my back (though he will gladly say that he does). If I were to need him and he had other plans for that point in time he would go for his other plans before choosing to be there for me (like he always has).

All that I can tell you is to keep your head up because friends will come and go through your life, but when one circle of friends is gone another circle of friends is coming over the horizon. As long as you are open to being somebody's friend you will always have a possibility of finding a new friend. You see, the circle of friends that I just lost I had known since high school, but before high school I had another circle of friends which disappeared when I got to high school. Friends have a turnover rate and as long as you are where there are people that you have something in common with you will have a possibility of new friends.
