Personality: In many ways, Kael is very much his parents' son. He has Loki's mild manners, Isilme's love for the Lore, and their mutually good humor, with a dose of serene cheerfulness all his own.
It can't quite be said he inherited either one's sense of adventure, but he is agreeable to the point of getting dragged along anyway (as was often the case with his brother, Kyer), much to his insistent conscience's chagrin. He is not a rebel, and his follower tendencies have an unfortunate habit of bringing him into trouble, if only with his own self.
Kael also has an undeniable curiosity toward life and everything in it, but it's of a metered sort, and surfaces only when he wills it... Which, more often than not, is in the face of a possible tale, and not in shadow of lurking danger. He's not flighty, but neither is he rashly brave.

Personality: Ashara's a generally goodhearted soul: thoughtful, kind, loyal, and sensible. However, she isn't one to dwell, and though she's never hasty, she is very decisive. She knows her own mind, and can be prone to relentless stubbornness. She also tends to be overly logical, in that - a sharp deviation from her upbringing - she often feels seeing is believing, and is a bit lacking in the imagination department. Which is, of course, all the more reason to see as much as she's possibly able.
She's also the youngest of five, but is not the sheltered little girl one might expect. Shara dearly loves her family, but she's not just able to stand on her own; she's content in it (as any proper daughter of theirs should be!).
