Heart Gold / Soul Silver - Have you bought it?

Being a big fan of the original Gold/Silver (my favorites of all the Pokemon games), I couldn't resist buying the remake.

I really like the changes they made, like:

- Getting coins for prizes is much easier (no more wasting all your money buying coins so you can get a Dratini). Also can't lose coins when playing coin game.
- Gyms are more interesting.
- Your phonebook has more space for numbers.
- You can be a girl
- Mystery Gift without Gameboy Color, yeeeeeah! *never had a GB Color*
- You can dress up as a Team Rocket member and get your picture taken! (Rocket!Gold fanart galore!)

I'm only at the 3rd badge so far, so I don't know all the changes, but I'm looking foward to seeing what they've done~

That aside, has anyone else bought Heart/Soul yet? I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have both. XD I've only gotten one badge so far in SS though, and I haven't even started Gold.

I got SS! LUV IT! Not very far through, though. Only 3 badges. BUT IT'S AWESOME I luv how any pokemon can follow you! I picked Cyndaquill as my starter and she's evolved once.

I loved Pokemon Gold! It was my first pokemon game and i love how you can go in both jhoto and kanto.
The games just came out where I live today, I'll be sure to buy heart gold <3

Just got it today and I'm currently fighting Falkner >w<

I picked Totodile for my starter cuz all my friends got Cyntaquil hurhurhur I'm evil but I love both of them. Chikorita...not so much because of it's evolutions xD But all of them are so cute > w<

I got SS when it came out and now I'm at the Champion of the Elite Four.

I got HeartGold, and I have 2 badges and I'm currently in Goldenrod City.

I started with Chikorita, for pure nostalgia purposes. I chose Chikorita back when I played Gold and Crystal. Besides, in this region, it's actually more challenging to start with a Grass type.

My Pokemon are hugging me. It's just too frickin' adorable to bear! gonk whee

I got HG and one of my best friends has SS. I actually never got the original gold or silver ( DONT SHOOT ME D: ) because my mom only recently allowed me to have a portable gaming system, so I'm new to this, but I'm loving the game so far! <3

I love being able to play as a girl! >w< I choose Chikorita as my starter since I love grass types (but it IS kinda difficult to play with grass types in this game, I'm noticing). He's already evolved into Bayleef and one of my Oddish evolved into Gloom not too long ago.

I'm at my second attempt to get my fourth badge. All of my pokemon faint once I have to fight the Gengar D:

I used my Umbreon against him. Took me a while to evolve Eevee though. Haircuts and Pokewalks and such.


Part of me wanted to evolve it into Vaporeon, but I already have Lanturn (which totally rocks btw. It's a water/electric type with Volt Absorb ability. All electric attacks that hit him heal him instead of doing damage), so I went with Umbreon. My brother got Espeon.

My very first pokemon game was Gold. I fell in love with it.

God, the Pokewalker is so freaking amazing. I'm so childish, I strap that thing to my belt and take my Caterpie or my Spinarak out on walks. So amusing. I'm a beast with my Haunter, Sergei.

OH! That reminds me: do you need to put new batteries in the pokewalker when you first get it? Because I turned mine on and it abruptly shut off and I can't get it back on again. o_o
