((Title Explanation)) I was in play practice for Grease and I was thinking about the song 'Freddy My Love'. Basically, the girl is talking about this long-distance relationship with a guy named Freddy Strolka, and she seems only interested in him for his gifts("I really flipped over that grey cashmere sweater" "Oh, how I wish I had a jacket that matches!" "And throw your service pay around like confetti..")
Well, when I asked my friends-who-had-dated, they didn't seem as horrified by the idea of being with someone just for money.
What do you think, you guys? Would you date a guy for money? Do you know someone who did?

No you shouldn't date a guy just for money. Thats shallow and wrong.
Girls appreciate present from their boyfriends because it shows their partner is thinking of them and spending time thinking of what they would like. But to treat your romantic partner like an ATM-- thats horrible.
