When it's a little older, a tap on the nose when it bites will usually do it for my kitties- but cats will be cats and if they're mad at you or want to play, they'll bite.
It's how they play. Get it something else to chew on.
Like a catnip mouse. They're not too expensive (you can usually get two of them for about $3) and they last practically forever if you get the kind with plastic bodies covered in synthetic fur material.
The fur will eventually be stripped off, but the body is hard to destroy.
