I've come across this many times when it comes to artists in the art shop area of Gaia. It seems that most artists can only draw girls or femme boys. Muscles, I think they'd laugh if I asked.
But gender biased artists, is this wrong? Or do they have a right as an artist to not draw what they don't like or is it their duty as an artist to become well rounded and draw both?
I myself am quite biased when it comes to drawing. I love drawing dudes. Their figures, the multitude of body types they can have. The female body just, doesn't inspire me. If I did do commissions, I'm sure the person who did commission me, would be less then content with the results.
I suppose there is no real factual answer for this question. But I do want to know what are your opinions are on this matter, whether it be positive or negative.
