Anarchy Online is a futuristic- MMO that is 100% free. Easy to download (if you're tech-savvy) and there is a decent amount of people playing right now. The economy made it take a turn for the worse, but so did every other MMO out there, amirite?

I usually don't even like futuristic games, but this game is amazing. It takes a while to figure out the controls, but you can take care of that by researching the guide while it's downloading. There's also an option to buy an account on there, which gives you access to two new races and a new realm (which lets you level up faster). The only downside is the graphics...they're not all that fantastic, but they're not the worst I've ever seen.
