So, does anyone have one of "those friends"? The wonderwoman...or wonderman? ;D

Anyways, the point is, one of my so called "friends" was being so unbelievably horrible to me, and so after a while I called my friend. She was in the middle of a project that was due the next morning, but we talked for over an hour. I bawled my eyes out, and she just said exactly what I wanted to hear. She just made me feel so much better (: We talked about absolutely anything and by the time I hung up I had gone from crying my eyes out to laughing my head off and I had completely forgotten about what had upset me.

Ahh...I'm so glad I have a friend like her. (: I don't see how she's put up with me for our whole fourteen years, but I'm glad she has. But, reading this post, I realise I made her sound like a saint. xD
We normally bicker, make fun of eachother, and just generally look like two people who irritate each other to the end of the world and back, but we just have this sisterly bond thing going on that's hard to describe, and it makes me happy that we have something special like that. (:

So, any of you guys got that sisterly/brotherly friend? Or just want to post about a great friend? ^^ It'd be fun to hear any stories you guys have. [:

My best friend, Emily, has been with me for over thirteen years. She was my maid of honor and is the future godmother of my first child. She loves to interrogate me, but she's also wonderful when I need to rant. She and I have spent the last eight years writing a story together. We argue constantly, but it is all in good fun.

You lucky to have friends. I don't really have any real life friends to call my own right now, they where all backstabbers to me. So I wouldn't know what its like to be in your shoes right now. :c

I'm glad though that she makes you feel better when you are down, I wouldn't be surprised if you where friends for your whole life.

Lol i'm only almost 16, and the longest friend I've had was for about 9 years, but we're not on brilliant terms now, just so-so. I ended up going to a diff school for 3 years in the middle, so somewhere along the line we grew apart. We're so different from each other now, lol
Like she's cute and girly and social (preppy), whereas I'm a little more of a laidback introvert who hangs out with the outcasts

bleh.
The closest I had to a sister of a friend... we go to diff high schools now, so of course we grew apart.

I guess my real best best friend would be my little sister, who I've been with since she was, well, born. That's ten years and counting. We're like best buds, lol.

My best friend is preppy. Everyone wonders why we're best friends because I am know as the emo girl at my school, and don't like girly-social, which Ali is. And for some reason she just kinda stuck around when we met last year. So she's a prep who hangs out with the weird guys no one really knows.

Longest best friend I had was Anda, for four years before we went to different middle schools. Now it Ali, for two years. And next year we're going to different high schools.

Ah, I've never had that problem, 'cause where I live you go to primary school when you're 4-11, then secondary school from 11-18. So yeah, I'll be stuck with the same people for a while now xD

I moved around a lot as a kid, so my longest friendship so far has been 6 years. I know so much about her - that she eats her cookies around the edges to the middle, and she picks off nail polish when she's bored, and she falls asleep during car rides. She has been my friend for what feels like forever, even after I was a total b***h to her in 7th grade. Thankfully, I have had no reason to rant to her yet.

Oh, my best friend :3 I met her while going after her ex boyfriend (it was a long battle with him, he was too afraid to hurt me, blah, blah, blah...). I was having a really hard time with him and she and I started talking one day because he introduced us. He knew he was causing me a hard time and that she could help me out. She became kind of like a second mom to me in a way. She looks out for me and puts up with a lot of things from me. She knows and understands that I have a mental disability and she cuts me the slack where I need it, and pushes me to move forward when I need to.
She does sometimes forget that she's not actually a mother figure and tries to "punish" me by giving me the silent treatment or something (kind of funny because she's only a year older xD) but she's the best friend I've ever had.
She's been there for me through a lot and I've helped her out and supported her through the years.
We're just really close even though we're so far apart most of the time now.
Though people find it right weird when we randomly call each other things like "mother dearest" and "daughter dearest", and when in the middle of a mall, some people get pretty confused xD

People tell me it's stupid and that's not what a friendship is supposed to be like, but every friendship is different and without her, I wouldn't be who I am today.
She does put up with a lot from me and I thank god for her everyday. We just complete each other.

Me and my wee lil' one Korrey. She's my 'younger sister'. I stay at her house all the time. :3 My older sister is Candace but she lives far away, we've been friends for years. the three of us are really close.

EDIT: Since we're telling sincere stories about our sisters and brothers, I'd like to mention something about Korrey.

I have short term memory loss due to a seizure last year, and Korrey has been with me every step of the way. When I ask her the same question over and over, she answers it without giving me a sarcastic "You've asked this a million times" that everyone else does. When its late at night and I ask her if I took my medicine, she'll tell me if I did, or she will give it to me to take before bed.
She asks ME if I take my inhalers or if I need something, and if I'm REALLY not doing to well, she'll have me stay the night and take care of me when my parents are out (they're training to be professional youth leaders at church, ordained and stuff. So they have to go to out of town meetings).
We take care of eachother, but recently she has been taking care of me.

But this guy...Mike. He is truely a brother, like my parents call him their son, brother.
He's been with me through thick and thin, and knows how to take care of my medical needs.

You tell those people to shut up. Everyone has different friendships and different ways of loving. If they get to decide that your way of loving is "stupid", they get to face my online wrath. D:<

I know what you mean. I had a rough time with a group of friends a while back...it got really bad and I had to move. ^^;

And right now I'm just really distant from everyone, except my boyfriend. He is my best friend and my support system and all that cheesy stuff.

So I guess I get where both of you are coming from. n.n

Things that no one seems to hear
If you can smile, up above
I hope you look down tomorrow, while I'm awake
To see all the times I laugh, and all the times I frown
Notice then that, just like you, nothing keeps me down
I have a friend like that... Wow.

She lives 6,000 miles away from me, and I only lived in the same state as her for about half a year while we knew each other there. We know everything and anything about each other, and talk for hours all the time.
She always knows how I'm feeling and what I need, and I'd like to say vice versa.

Unfortunately, my family doesn't like her (minus my dad) because of her religion, attitude, and clothing style. They think she's a bad influence because she's Pagan, wears a lot of black, and is a blunt and open person.
I love that about her. XD

When I moved from California to New York when I was in the fifth grade, I was so afraid of going through that 'new girl' phase at school. Luckily I never had to go through it, and I have Lauren to thank for. She was the first one to come up and talk to me on my first day of school, and we've been tight ever since. Lauren's been my best friend since 2002, and she knows every single thing about me. She was the only friend I had during that 'Rebellion phase' Sophomore year, and even if I make the dumbest mistakes at times she's always there to welcome me back with open arms. She's like a sister to me, and I think she's my "that friend" you're talking about. XD I lalalove her. :3

Side Rant: This fall I'm going to college, and I already have an idea of how much it's going to suck without her, since there's only like a really small chance of us going to the same college. I'm scared shitless.
