Dear whole house ceiling fan in the hallway;
I love you. You may be an inanimate object intended to pull air through the house, but at night, you do so much more. You make enough noise that I can sit here, in the spare room, blasting music louder than normal- without waking up my mother at the other end of the hall. Because you happen to be placed between us, she doesn't hear a thing I do over your deafening roar.
Also, you make the upstairs not super hot :]
