the hunger games

so i'm coming up with my summer reading list and the hunger games is one i'm highly considering. any feedback?

also any other books that you highly recommend?

i'm a fantasty sorta girl and even though i love fantasy i can't stand science fiction. some other books i've liked in the past would be any books by Robin McKinley (though i've kinda grown out of it), the blue bloods series, the th1rteen r3asons why, the luxe series, the host, most of the Anne McCaffery series of The Dragons of Pern, Eragon, The Uglies, The Giver... so that should hopefully give you an idea of what i like. oh and i'm an avid Jane Austin lover. ^^

I don't really know much about The Hunger Games, but I see you've enjoyed Jay Asher's '13 Reasons Why' so I guess it would be more than necessary to recommend Lauren Oliver's 'Before I Fall.' Google the plot if you like, but it just reminds me a lot of TRW. It gave me the same chills when I read it and changed my views on death, too.

I loved the Giver =) It was amazing! I love the Uglies too! I'm reading the last one, Extras.

i love the giver most def, the uglies (currently reading for MY summer reading list), and if u can or prefer the house of night series is a very good series. i like it and so do some of my other friends. also how bout the maximum ride series. theres plenty of books in that.

You have to look through the darkness...

I would recommend The Hunger Games to anyone and everyone. It is twist and odd in many ways, but it is one of the most interesting thing's I have read in a looong time.

Hunger Games is almost THE BEST book I've ever read. You will probably like it.

Hunger games is AMAZING. I haven't met a person who hasn't enjoyed it. And another book that i recommend is Paper Towns by John Green.
