Okay, where to start? Well, Sunday I was at a waterpark with my friend Shaina, and she told me she thinks someone in the group likes me. I, of course, wanted to know who, even though I see most of these guys as my brothers. She finally relented and gave me a hint, and I was right on the first guess.
Tristan. Her most recent ex, who I KNOW she still likes.
I've never seen Tristan like that. Okay, I have. SORTA. I've never liked him like that, but I've always thought he'd be an amazing boyfriend. And he KINDA is my type (he's funny, cute, and extremely loyal)..I just never thought about him like that 'cause he's kind of a d**k?
Well, Shaina told me she thinks Tristan likes me, and I was like "wtf, no." But she gave me some reasons [fail reasons, if you ask me..>.>], and even though I didn't see it, it got me paranoid.
Now every frickin' time Tristan and I talk, I look for hints to see if this is true or not. But I've never had a boy like me, so I can't recognize any of the signs. >.>
But my problem is: Shaina's got me thinking of Tristan as a crush, even though I don't feel like I like him. And even if I DID start liking him, and he actually liked me back, I would NOT go out with him because A: Shaina still likes him. A lot. and B: My best friend, Savanna, USED to like him, and I still want them to hook up.
I just hate this. I don't have a crush at the moment, and so I feel I'm only seeing him like this because I want a new crush?! And that makes me feel stupid. D< Ugh, why'd Shaina have to tell me?! >.<

Haha, lol I know what that's like!!
Haha, I say you just talk to him about it. It would settle your nerves and all, make him clear on where YOU stand, cause he's probably as nervous/confused that you're acting differently around him, and that would also put Shaina's mind to ease if he says no. These things are generally easier to clear up from the start! Talk to him about it; if he likes you, tell him you don't feel that way about him now. If not, that's fine! Be the one to say it first, before things get out of hand!!
