I thought it was bad enough when my parents told me that Dad was diagnosed with cancer, and I was even getting less depressed and optimistic about it but now they just found out that my grandfather has just been diagnosed with a different more aggressive cancer. Both of them need surgery, but my Opa needs chemo first. We don't exactly know how bad Dad's is either. Best case scenario; it's just the one tumour.

Please guys, I sincerely believe in the power of prayer and I really need them right now.

I don't know what I' going to do if I lose either of them.

I'll send them good thoughts.
I'm really hoping they both pull through fine.

Well... I've a similar though.. not the same problem. Last week pretty much everyone in my family on my moms side ( My mom included ) was diagnosed with an onset case of Diabetes. But if it helps, God be with you.

My best wishes go to your grandfather and father. I, too, have seen several family members affected by cancer.

How do yu deal with it? I'm a wreck.

It wouldn't be so bad if Opa would just accept medical help. He's not convinced it's his time to go but he wants to deny surgery and chemo.

I did a lot of journal writing when my aunt was diagnosed with cancer. It really helped me out, and I think it had to do with transferring my emotions onto paper.
