However, this side of her is usually seen only when she is preying on - er, playing with - more landbound Soquili. With others of her kind she is formal and a bit reserved. She doesn't cope well with being cut completely off from contact, and while she enjoys her time alone, if she spends more than a few months in a completely solitary environment, she starts to... forget things, and starts acting a little odd, which is somewhat at odds with her normal levels of intelligence. She finds this humiliating and of great annoyance (she loves her privacy a great deal), but has never found a way to overcome this weakness of hers. For most of her life, the only thing that has ever aided her with this problem was contact with others, forcing her to consider them in her plans and not rely solely on her own knowledge. Taking a lifemate has undoubtedly been good for her, as the company steadies her mind and allows her to plot and function at full capacity. And oh, she does love her plotting. Backstory:Lady Sarevess has led quite a solitary life, occasionally laying claim to a territory for a short period, and then moving on. She cannot say with any certainty how old she is, or when she first started this pattern, but she believes that it started when she was barely out of foalhood. She has long-since known that her race is dying out, and desires to revive it, but gave up believing that there were any male naga alive any longer... at least until she met Zalashji. He's a sweet-natured stallion, but slightly gullible and inclined to believe whatever he's told. Shaeran chooses his words carefully when talking to someone else - perhaps too carefully, as he can be slow to respond. She wants to see the world outside of her desert home, and by that she literally means to see absolutely everything that she can. Sweet and naive, Itzy is quick to trust and slow to hate. This is somewhat of a dangerous mindset to have in a dangerous world, but she has yet to experience anything that truly frightens her. Skipping through life with a song and a smile, Itzamna fully hopes to make friends wherever she goes. Backstory: Born and raised in the desert, Itzamna had a very sheltered and hidden life. When the world suddenly opened up to her with the destruction of the barrier between her homeland and the rest of the world, Itzamna knew her opportunity was at hand. He often has lazy days where he'll lie on the sand and doze, looking like nothing more than a cerynei-shaped hunk of driftwood. He's something of a hippie - just takes life day by day, going with the flow of things. He rarely gets angry or spooked, and is perfectly content with just about anything that happens. If the sky is overcast, well, the waves are hitting the shore just right. If the tide's running high, then the grass past the beach is nice. There's always something good going on, and he chooses to focus on that. Backstory: Broc doesn't talk much about his past, and to be frank it doesn't come up much.
