Oh yeaaah!! >D I survived a Earthquake!!!

Canada just had a 5.0 Earthquake in the Ottawa/Quebec border region!! I was standing outside cleaning my car whenI felt it! The ground rumbled, I heard the sounds of an Earthquake! So far nothings damaged or fallen to the ground in the city, but all is well. Wow though! eek

Dude, try living in Southern California. We get earthquakes almost every 2 months.

It's a first sort of thing for me, we never get legitimate quakes here above the 5.0 magnitude like today.

I know, I been watchin' the news all afternoon after that. Though now I'm wondering how come in 5.0 earthquakes buildings usually topple over in the states with alot of earthquakes yet up here everythings perfectly intact.

I glared at the girl across the table from me because I thought she was shaking the table, and she glared at me because she thought I was. XDD

I don't know about the States, but I know those 3rd world countries suffer a lot more because they don't have sound buildings. It probably depends on the location too, like how far from the center the buildings are.
