The Raggedy Inn


Description:
What seems to be an old rough pub is the ideal safe house and a place for all to come together for a pint. It is a fight free zone for opposing members to get together and not try to kill each other. The previous owner and Bartender of the inn, Isaac Whitlock, no longer runs the joint, but with the aid Digimon who came upon it to use it as a restaurant to serve food and drinks in order to make a living.

The pub had just open for the morning crowd as Isaac Whitlock was polishing the Wine bottles. “What a beautiful morning, isn’t it, Ryudamon?” When Isaac said that a lizardlike creature slid out from behind the bar counter, sweeping. “Indeed it is, My lord.” The creature continued to sweep. The morning was peaceful and no ominous senses were felt. Isaac breathed onto the wine bottle to continue to polish it. “Yep, nothing will go wrong this fine day.” He placed the wine bottle back onto the shelf then pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He gently reached into his pocket for his lighter and lit up his cigarette with a swift inhale and a slow exhale. He smiled as he flicked the ashes into his ashtray, waiting for what today’s bring will be.

Lance enters the inn looking for a meal , ''Hey give me a cup of water with a lemon''. (kira said i could come before the location was revealed)

Isaac looks up to the brat demanding without saying a greeting or using manners. He lets it slide just this once and pulls out a glass, fills it with water and no ice. He cutes a lemon in half then into wedge and drops the lemon in the water. He hands it to Ryudamon who brings the drink to the table next to the boy and places it there. Everyone goes back to their business.

Lance picks up the water and drinks it , ''Thank you''.Lance leaves some money and a pack of cigars . Lance carrys his bag and leaves . Zero apologizes for Lances behavior . Zero explains that Lance just got a bad test grade in the real world and is trying to wipe the thoughts out by going to the Digital World.

Ryudamon runs over to the table to pick up the chump change left and what seemed to be a pack of cigars. He brought them over to Isaac. "Hmm... Cigars and chumpchange, eh?" Isaac takes them both and pockets them. "That kid may not be too much a brat after all..." He pauses for a moment then replies to himself, "Who am I kidding? He is obviously a brat." Isaac and Ryudamon got a kick ou of that and the two got back to work.

Isaac was cloing up for the night with Ryudamon as a DemiDevimon flew in. "The first memoy has been located, it is out at Dragon Eye Lake." "Excellent work, DemiDevimon. Close up the pub for me." DemiDevimon began to sclose up as Isaac and Ryudamon went into the backroom. Isaac got into a hakama and kimono then put over a sash. He then opened a closet filled with a stand and Hroi armor on in. Isaac quickly got into the armor and put on a Gemini mask only revealing his eyes. He pulled out what seemed to be a rod and hit the switch for a trap door that he and Ryuudamon went down. Ryuudamon was falling faster then Isaac which worked well for this situation. "Ryudamon Warp Digi-volve to.....Hisyarumon!" Hisyarumon looked like an ancient Dragon from the east of Asia. Isaac landed upon Hisyarumon and they flew out of a secret cave and headed to Dragon Eye Lake.

(Enter Ryudamon and Isaac Whitlock)

Ryudamon had changed Isaac's clothes and bandaged him up. He placed Isaac in his bed to rest and brushed his head. "You over did it my Lord, now get your rest..." Ryudamon left Isaac's bedside to open up the Pub for nightcomers.

A loud thud resounded throughout the entire pub. A girl had opted to kick down the door, instead of entering the normal way. Her reasoning was sound within her own mind. Back in the real world she had always wanted to kick a door down, doing it here would have to do. Suddenly a horrifying thought struck Rebecca. She lacked a cool intro line to say in this sort of situation. She had gone through the trouble of getting their attention only to waste it. Rebecca froze, her eyes scanning the restaurant. The place was abandoned, what a waste. She heaved a sign of relief allowing her arms to relax and fall to her sides. A small dinosaur-like creature followed behind her through the doorway. He was silent for now, most likely thinking up some form of smart remark. Rebecca gave the place one more look around before speaking. "Guess the name suits the place," she commented reaching into her pockets. She patted the empty pockets twice before looking to Agumon. "We better jet, unless this place takes smiles and good looks as a currency." Rebecca advised her partner, wanting to leave before somebody made her pay for the door.

Ryudamon popped out to the loud ruckus. He noticed a girl with her Agumon ontop of the busted down door. "Could you please keep it down a bit? The master is in bed resting." "Not anymore!", shouted Isaac. "Where are my cigarettes!?!?!" Ryudamon ignored Isac and looked to the girl and her Agumon. "Please have a seat. Would you like a drink on the house?"

An exhausted sigh came from Rebecca. She had managed to get herself lost in the digital world for weeks. This the first habitable place they had found in days and the owner had no appreciation for her antics. She acted in such a way to entertain of course, it was how she had been raised. Always smiling so you can cheer the others around you, even when your insides are at turmoil. She brushed a colored lock of hair to the side, while surveying the other dinosaur-like digimon. She had always assumed that Agumon looked like a t-rex, this digimon resembled a velociraptor shoved into a suit of armor. A smirk came to her face as she pictured a person trying to place armor on a vicious reptile. The smirk faded away as she bean to poke at Ryudamon's armor. "That looks like Edo Period samurai armor, where did you get it?" she commented, at the same time wondering if there had ever been samurai in the digital world. She ignored his comments about keeping it down. Instead she chose to wander around the bar making a close observation of the building. What she had found was no different then her first impressions, it was a ruddy old dump. As the shouting reached her ears, she thought of something fun to shout back. "You know if you keep smoking you won't be able to shout like that for very long," Rebecca shouted, accompanying her words with a fake cough. She beamed back at the Ryuudamon once more. Strangely enough he was offering the vandals a free drink. "Nah I'm not one for drinking, unless you have a glass of water or something," she said waving the dinosaur in armor off with a flick of the wrist.

Ryudamon went and borught out two bottles of soda pop. "Will soda do, maam?" He placed it onthe counter for the girl to get it. "And to answer your question, I was digitized with this armor on." Ryudamon went into the backroom as Isaac came out. He wasn't wearing a shirt but bandages were covering most of his torso. He was wearing his white fedora though, and his shades even though it was the middle of the night. Isaac walked up behind the counter, stumbling a bit, to pick up his pack of cigarettes. He slid one out smoothly just by gently tapping the bottom of the pack. He placed it in his mouth but left it unlit. "So... Why is a girl like you out this late at night?", he asked the girl. After the question Isaac looked down to see the door was knocked down. He just stood there and smirked at that moment.

Rebecca noticed the bandages immediately. As well as the fedora, nice hat. She glanced back at the soda for a moment. She was thirsty, but did not feel like walking all the way across the room. Rebecca looked at the soda and then to Agumon. The digimon did not seem to get the message. She sighed looking to the shirtless fedora hat boy. "So how exactly did you get those bandages," she asked, bored enough to start a conversation. The digital world had a strange effect on her. Perhaps it was because she had such a fun childhood, that when it was all taken away everything else felt boring.She was in an entire world populated by strange digital creatures, but nothing really surprised her anymore. Tapping her feet in an odd matter she heard the shirtless fedora hat boy's question. An uninteresting question indeed. She debated for a moment whether or not to answer honestly or make up some fantastic lie. "I got lost, the maps for this place aren't exactly reliable." She muttered, a partial complaint on how random the digital world's construction seemed to be.

"Well try living here for thirteen years... And as for the bandages, you know... Hard work can leave penalties at times... Such as rebolting that door to fit right." He chuckled at his reply then walked to the bar to pop open a soda pop. "you care to join me in a drink? Don't worry... It is non-alcoholic... You look too young to be able to drink." Isaac opped open two more sodas for the girl and the Agumon.
