100+ sick/dead animals found on "animal rescuers" property

This happened a couple years ago near where I live. I was horrified to find out that these cats had been, literally, living in sewage, and that there were dead bodies found in the sewage.

After the animals were taken from the property, the SPCA had a special program called "Cat Cuddling". Volunteers would socalize and care for the many cats that were rescued from Celtic Pets Rescue. I was one of the volunteers. A large church was used to keep all the cats. The volunteers would go in and play with the cats, or even help clean the litter boxes. Basically, you'd walk in and there'd be a s**t ton of cats running around (although the unneutered males were kept in cages). I remember one of the cats, a small female, had a broken leg that had healed the wrong way so that it would limp around. She was beautiul though.

Thank you for volunteering to care for those cats, I don't usually get opportunities like that around where I live. I really hope those cats can have the better lives they deserve :c
