So, I'm working on my contest entry, and have sketch done, but something looks off about the guy's upper body to me. Anyone else see what's wrong?

It's not near done, this is just a sketch mock up effectively, but I'm still not able to tell what's up with it... Just looks off.

Let me know what you think of the concept of the pic also.

UPDATE:
So, I fixed a few things (the guy's arms for one) and mostly finalized it. If nothing major is brought up by the end of tomorrow, I'll probably plop it into photoshop and digitally ink and color it.

If you finish it it would be fantastic heart !!!

I don't really know a lot about drawing manga but I think that the girl's legs seem to have different lenghts and boy's straight (don't know how to call it exactly) leg It's just too static. Anyways I really like the sketch, so imagine if it was the definitive!!

Well, the girl's leg that in the air is supposed to be bent back some so it would look a little shorter then the other, O-o I guess I need to either define it more or make it longer like you suggested.

The Guy
-the shoulder to neck area could be more defined.
-I don't know how old he is supposed to be but the torso looks rather straight.

The Girl
-Again, I don't know how old she is but she could use a bit more definition in the torso area.
-Also, I think I would see a bit more hair on the left side (just at the scalp).

Overall a very good picture and I can't wait to see it when it's done.
P.s. I love the splash marks.

EDIT:
Oh, and for age, I'd place them at around 18-22, in college at spring break, or something like that.

My only issue is the arm that's holding the gun on the guy. It just doesn't look right >.< and on the girl, the top half of the leg that's in the water and the top half that's out seem to be different lengths. Other than that, looks really nice ^.^ can't wait to see the finished picture.
