My mother always told me love was a bullshit emotion that only fools and dreamers believed in... Why is it that groups like the Pussycat Dolls have to sexualize EVERYTHING?!
I love the movie Slumdog Millionaire and they do a music video thing at the end of the movie to a song called Jai Ho and it was pretty much amazing. People are bitching because it's not "real" like Hollywood and that Bollywood sucks, but it doesn't. Bollywood dancers and actors often seem more real than the Hollywood s**t, I mean, that dance looks pretty damn real, especially compared to the Pussycat Dolls version.
They ruined it!!!
They looked like they were all having a synchronized seizure!!!
Why does everything have to be about sex and showing off as much of the female body as they can without being censored on tv??!?
People are going on about how they were being cultural when they remade the video, but like hell they were! All they did was show off Nicole's body and lipsinc the whole thing to s**t.
Sorry, but I love the Slumdog version to bits and I'm outraged over people saying the Pussycat Dolls' version is better D:<

Yeah, they do have some nice things, but I don't like how they sexualized it so much. Some of the tops showed off practically everything. In a normal east indian culture, that normally wouldn't happen unless you were a dancer of some sort, and there were people talking about them being cultural D': The tops and headpieces were nice, it's more how they did the video and what people are saying about them that I'm angry about ]:<

The female body is beautiful and you can tell that they all put a lot of work into their bodies.. no wonder they want to show them off.

Yeah, I'm not saying they don't do it, but people were freaking out about it being "so fake" well...it's more real than the Hollywood stuff... I just don't understand why they have to take perfectly good things and sexualize them. It's ridiculous.

I don't really find the video too sexual haha.
They just seem to be dancing in typical Bollywood outfits that are always pretty small.

This is where I'm going to say that I take pride in not watching music videos and s**t.
It's a song. Seriously.
I usually agree with your opinions and rants, but honestly? A song?
Over all the things to be mad about, like thirteen year old girls 'needing' a boyfriend, you choose a song.
All I can say is that I really don't see the point.
If you don't like how sexual it is, don't watch.
Let people think it's cultural. It might be their first and only taste of culture.
No point in freaking out.
And about the slumdog version, PCD made it first, you need to give them that.
