Contests and Games

If we were to start some contests offering up some nifty Gaia prizes, would you join?

They would be simple games, like a dice roll, a questionnaire or maybe a themed art contest ~

Prizes so far include retired Cash Shop items.


Please feel free to post your opinions, ideas and suggestions if you have any.

I love tektek avatar contests with price limit or not. Random number game is good too. Everyone randomize a number for example 1-100 and when TM has maintenance game leader do the same. If game leaders number match with one of the players, wins. (If more than one player wins, put them in order and randomize their order number. 1-3 arrow 2 The second player won.)

We could play "What you think". This game would be only a game. No prizes. Everyone would post what pops in their mind when they see last post. Like this:

ballet

I didn't think about tektek contests :0
The randomized number idea during maintenance could work nice too - keep people occupied while TM is down ~
But for that, we'll still need enough people participating =]

3 Word Story Game - each person posts only 3 words to continue off the last 3 words the post before them posted.

Ask a Stupid Question, Get a Stupid Answer - basically, you first have to answer the question of the person above you, and then post your own question. Dumb questions and answers ideally.

Answer a Question with a Question - just as the title says =]

Corrupt a Wish - Make a wish. Next poster will grant it for you...in a way you would never wish for it to be granted, like "I wish for some honey" - "gets you a live beehive with lots of angry bees"

Screenshot Battle - this can be fun, and I've seen some people do it right. Whoever posts HAS to post an image. Usually an image with captions, but if the image itself can speak for itself, that's fine too. Basically, you try to beat or dodge or answer back to the image posted last.

Here are some i know of:

Post OnlyIf....: is where you post only if you have anything to do with what the person above you said.

Would You Rather....?: is where you choose b/w 2 different things the poster above you put.

Change One Letter: simple, change one letter from the word the poster above you have.

Throw Something At The Next Poster: just throw something at the next poster its really fun!

one more

Name That Song: put some lyrics to a song that you know and people try to guess the right song.

lol those sound fun but i dunno how prizes would work in most of those xD unless it was participation based or if you randomize numbers at the same time with each post...
edit: wait... randomizer doesn't work for me?? >_>

Oh these games would be more for fun than for prizes, but you know, maybe we can come up with something interesting, like maybe for a period of time, you generate a number while playing one of the games, and if it matches the OP's, they can win something neat o 3o

xD Yea. At first it seemed like it didn't want to work for me too, until I put my cursor back onto the text box - then the options for the generator showed up.
