i didn't even wanna watch it. the cast didn't look like they suited the roles and the commercials made it look cheap. i mean, some things shouldn't be made into movies, and a lot of cartoons should be left as cartoons in my opinion.

They should have left this movie alone. It was way better as a cartoon. The acting was bad but I liked the action scenes. I love the cartoon so much so it is hard for me to say that I hate this movie. The only positive thing that I liked from this movie was the connection between Aang and Prince Zuko. Oh, and who could forget Uncle, he was cool.

it goes to show that america writers cant come up with anything orginial no more. orginiallity died a long time ago.
oh well i wonder what movie gonna blow at the box office next.

I also liked the animation of the bending being done in the movie. It looked almost like the ones in the anime. The plot and the acting, however, was pretty much lacking in the movie, and made the characters almost unnoticed. I mean, I applaud the actor playing sokka for his efforts, but I didn't find him overall funny or delivering those comedic lines that made me laugh in the anime. I still kind of liked the movie anyways. Hope the sequel is much better.

i finally watched it the other day... it butchered the cartoon so badly! They even got some of the names wrong which is unbelievable....
i had to go watch all three books again after that appalling movie.
