Dark choc and cherry cookies? NOW TESTING! Pics!!!

I've got a hospitality/food tech/home ec assignment. I'm supposed to "invent" a cookie, bake it and bring it to school. I've been wondering... will dark chocolate and cherry cookies work?

EXPERIMENT 1

1st batch: DONE
It was extremely bitter. Plus, it turned out that I burned them. sweatdrop



2nd batch: DONE
They were very soft when I took them out of the oven. Almost like cake! And it tastes goood. After cooling down, they hardened.

3rd batch: DONE
Turned out like the 2nd batch.

This is how I looked while baking.


Just for the sake of experimenting... what if I added a little rum to the mixture?

Sounds like it could work.. I mean there are chocolate covered cherries. ;p
