Girls' Dormitories Hufflepuff

Walking down the hall from the circular door, you enter yet another circular room. These beds are covered in sheets colored yellow and black, along with badgers on some of them. It is a four-poster bed with drapes hanging from the four corners. On the wall across from the door is the Hufflepuff Badger.

Each bed has a trunk at the foot of it where a student's luggage was placed. You notice your name on your luggage and cross the room to it. This is your bed for the year.

Nelly opened the door and crept inside.
Guess Carys wasn't here yet. She picked a bed
by the fireplace and laid her stuff where

the end of the bed was.
She took out her book on charms,laid dow,and began reading.
"Boy these lights are dim!" complained Nelly.
In her muggle house they had lightbulbs .
She took out her wand.
"Lumos" her wand lit up.

Carys exited the bathroom, "You should see the size of the bathroom! It's huge!" She plopped down on the bed next to Nelly, "Whatcha reading?" She stretched a bit, and looked around the room.

Nelly saw a shaddow cast on the wall it was Carys.
"Really? I never used the bathroom yet. Oh I was just reading about charms you know
trying to get some information before the year starts."
Said Nelly.
She put aside her wand.

Carys raised an eyebrow, "Charms?" She rolled onto her stomach to grab a book out of her trunk, "Potions is so much better!" The book she grabbed was a copy of Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger. She moved to lean back against the headboard of her bed, and placed her wand behind her ear.

"no way! Charms is way better!" laughed Nelly
"I've been studying charms for like FOREVER!"
Nelly put her book down and she stood up and held her wand.
"Accio cup!"
a cup flew into the girl's dorm. door and went into Nelly's hand
she turned her head and raised her eyebrows and smiled at Carys . She lefted her wand and pointed it at the cup.
"Aguamenti!"
Water started to pour out of Nelly's wand and into the
cup. Then it stop right when the cup was filled.
Nelly put her wand in her pocket and carefully handed Carys
the cup of water.
"Water? Was that good for a beginner?"
Nelly quietly said.
She was very proud of what she just did.
she went back to her bed and laid down once more and took out
her book.

Nelly's eye's widen
Dammit the information for the Geminio charm is gone!
What if it is an important spell?! I guess i gotta try it might be
dangerous... thought Nelly.
"Hold on Carys I'm going to try this spell for my
own curious wonders. Take cover!" Yelled Nelly.
She threw the bag of beans on the floor and some beans fell out.
She back up and pointed her wand at the bag.
"Geminio!"
She closed her eyes but nothing happened.
Next thing she knew the beans started to form.
All the beans started to duplicate.
Then it stopped the bag was now filled but Nelly
Didn't want any more.
"What should i do with all these beans?! Maybe
i should give them to the guys. I'll be right back"
Nelly picked up the bag and her wand and left.

Cays's eye widened when Nelly performed the Aguamenti spell, and the Gemini spell, "Woah! Those are some really advanced spells! How did you learn them so fast?" Carys knew that she had studied potions all summer, bu she had only read just above first year, because she felt that she needed to be certain that she knew what she was doing. She watched Nelly leave to take the beans to the boys, "Okay." Carys decided to put away her Potions book, and wait for Nelly to return so they could chat.

((sorry, I have class earlier today, so I had to go to bed a bit earlier than normal))

Nelly plopped on the bed panting.
"Hogwarts is big! Oh I studying charms all
my life!" said Nelly.
She hugged her charms book.

Carys sat up, "Really? Why Charms? I'm curious." She really was. Carys didn't know anyone that studied Charms that thoroughly, or that long.

"Oh well not all my life just when I found out about the magical
word that is 1 year before I got invited to hogwarts."
Charms was Nelly's best subject.

Carys looked surprised, "All year? Wow, that's some serious dedication!" Potions was more Carys' forte, she had spent all summer bent over a cauldron.

She put the bookmark on the
page she left off in her
charms book and sat up .

Carys moved to lay on her stomach, facing Nelly, "What else did you do this summer? I mean you couldn't have spent all your time studying Charms, you'd explode!" She jestered with one hand for emphasis. "Did you go anywhere fun? Or see any Quidditch matches?"
