Seventh Floor Corridor

[Professor Tahiri]

This corridor is one of the many corridors in Hogwarts Castle. It is located on the Grand Staircase side of the castle on the seventh floor circulates The Quad. The corridor begins in the Grand Staircase Tower at the seventh floor level and passes around The Quad, including the Room of Requirement. It then leads to another staircase: in the 1995-1996 school year and earlier, the Divination Staircase was located here; but in the 1996-1997 school year, Horace Slughorn's Staircase is located here.

The entrance to the Gryffindor common room is located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it. A circular hole is behind the painting leading to the common room.

Tamara "Goldilocks" Radcliffe

Tamara walked away from the portrait of the Fat Lady and started drawing in her notebook. She began drawing the passages from the Fat Lady as she walked. Opening doors and exploring the rooms, she started making a comprehensive map. She began humming a tune as she walked towards the Transfiguration classroom. She removed a piece of gum from the pack in her pants pocket and popped it into her mouth, continuing her mapping process.

Tamara looked into the Transfiguration classroom and marked it down on her map, then walked over to the Charms professor's office and marked it on her map as well. She continued to map out the rest of the seventh floor. Ravenclaw Tower, huh?, she thought to herself standing outside of the entrance to the tower. The Eagle asked her the trick question to gain access to the Ravenclaw Commonroom. She looked at it. "Oh, I'm a Gryffindor. I can't go in there." The Eagle looked bewildered and then became a silent knocker again. She walked away from the door and headed towards the Astronomy Tower.

Tamara "Goldilocks" Radcliffe

Tamara climbed up and peeked around the Astronomy tower and then documented her findings. She returned to the Seventh floor and made sure to poke her head into every door the was unlocked and even unlocked a few with the spell Alohamora. She fully mapped out the entirety of the Seventh floor, including access to the Headmistress' Office and Ravenclaw Tower. Satisfied, she returned to Gryffindor Tower.

Olivia explored the school and was fascinated by all its portraits and magic. She thought it was best to keep a map so that she knows her way. Olivia got a slip of blank paper, her copy of "Pocket Book of Spells", and her 10" Willow wand with Veela hair. Using her wand she casted an easy charm variation and the blank paper was immediately filled with pictures, information, and the secret passages of Hogwarts. She smiled happily as she put the slip of paper back into her jean pocket and continued to walk along the moving staircases.

Spike got to the top of the Grand Staircase and looked to Celeste following him. Wow, that's a lot of stairs," he said, then chuckled as he waited for her to catch up.

Celeste followed after Spike, her hand gripped his tightly as if she was afraid to lose him and get lost. Infact, that's exactly what she was afraid of. She picked up her pace, a little breathless. "A-A-Are you sure we're going the right way?" She managed to ask, her eyes looked around in awe of the whole place.

He nodded to her and pulled her a little closer to him. "Yeah, we gotta go to the West Tower. There's access from the seventh floor, so here we are. That staircase can be pretty confusing. My mum said you can memorize the movements."

"A-Actually I'm surprised they move.." She gave him a weak smile. She wished atleast one of her parents would have been a witch or wizard..then she could maybe hold a decent conversation with him..

Tamara climbed out of the portrait of the Fat Lady into the seventh floor corridor. She stretched her legs and started walking towards the Grand Staircase.

He chuckled and took her other hand, standing facing her. "A lot of things in the wizarding world move. Have you noticed the moving pictures yet? They can even talk." He started leading her away from the staircase when he spotted the other blond. "Oh, hey Tamara!"

She stumbled a bit as she tried to see if the pictures really moved and she forgot he was holding her hand. She stumbled into him. "H-Honestly?" She asked, stunned. She looked up to him as he said hello to someone. She kind of seemed to disappear behind Spike, marveling at the pictures as they moved.

Tamara was almost to the staircase when she heard someone shout to her. She stopped and identified the person who called her. Spike?, she thought to herself. She saw him with another girl, so she headed over that way. "Hey, Spike, was it? We met on the train, right?"

He chuckled. "Honestly. I promise." He saw Tamara walk up to them and glanced behind him to see Celeste start hiding behind him. He gently squeezed her hand and whispered to her. "Squeeze my hand to help you not be nervous." Then he turned his attention back to Tamara. "Yep. You got it. And this is Celeste. She's also a Hufflepuff."

She squeezed Spike's hand lightly, her own hand trembling a bit. However, she didn't make a move to walk out from behind him. Instead, she just stood on her tip-toes a bit, peaking over his shoulders. Just a bit from the middle of her nose and up was visible. "H..hi"
