YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A DARK ROOM. Except it's Figg's dorm, and it's more annoyingly dim than dark because he wrapped the lights in black tissue paper so the place properly reflects his mood and his dark tortured soul.

Has he mentioned that's pretty much all he is, a dark tortured soul.

You know, 'cause he's a ghost and such.

Personality: When otherwordly howls and eerie moans ebb down a corridor, the first thing one might think is that there must be a ghost nearby. This is no different in Amityville Academy -- but instead of fear or caution, the cries are often met with pity or exasperation -- because no spectre or spook in this school wails quite as much as Figg. In other words, he's an enormous whiner, not in any wistful or poetic sense but a geniuine emo kid, complete with a Halloween version of a big hoodie to hide in. Life is depressing. So is unlife. And so is the afterlife. Figg is seemingly determined to be every bit as miserable as he perceives existence to be, and duly twists any shred of optimism passed his way to somethng darque and tragique.

Why did they enroll at the academy? Figg wants to be an ARTEESTE. He's convinced that his viewpoints are amazingly original and individualistic, and what better place to express and hone his uniqueness than a school?

Fear: Figg's a noncorporeal shapeshifter: he and his kind can spread out and sculpt their ectoplasm to change their shape, create eerie mirages and even transform the atmosphere and appearance of an entire room. He can currently use his power to manifest a toothy, thorny, carnivorous vine-plant that can trip, bite or temporarily ensnare an opponent -- however, the energy and concentration it takes means it loses tangibility and disperses after a short while.
