well.....i had this good freind that is a guy......he was kind, funny, intelligent as heck, talented, a good person.........well when we were freinds i fell in love with him.....btu he introduced me to my current husband.....i love him, but now more as a brother..well......for some reason his other frinds started hating him idk why bu tya.....he quit gaia (after some very strong insults to me.........the worst possible........idk if he knows how much he hurt me he said he was trying to protect me by making me stop lieking him so im not upset at his leaving....but he dam near broke me...) and ive been telling his freinds and all that they say is that they dont give a damn.......how can people do that? a wonderful person thats their great freind and out of nowhere they hate him and he gets upset and leaves.......and now im never gonna see him again.....he was there for me when i needed someone to talk to....he was one of the best friends ive ever had.....and now hes gone......he was liek a brother to me......i would have died to save his life.......but he just leaves.......and i repect his decision but.....i still am gonna miss him a lot........and im pissed at his freinds that rejected him........im still trying to learn how to cope properly.......i suck at goodbyes........

These kinds of problems are the ones that suck the worst.
Who knows why people do what they do. Maybe something happened between them and him that you don't know about... confused
Either way, it sounds like he knows you were his friend right up until everything broke, and sometimes that's the best it's gonna get.
And don't worry. I suck at goodbyes too.
