Yata and Itsu had been pushing and pushing Jae for the past two hours, unrelenting and testing her skills in her mode. They had assured her that she would be able to do things far beyond her normal capabilities and they were right. Her endurance, speed and reaction time were all increased double fold and her senses were heightened to the maximum of her capacity. Even her eye sight was something to be recognized. She could see every detail of the ground below her and could pin point anything when asked of her. No wonder birds of prey thrived in the open skies. Jae dodged and rolled in the air, circling back and flying straight at Itsu who dodged her in a fluid movement of wings and wind. Jae was panting, glaring at the black bird creature. He seemed animated now that they were sparring. "Seems like you are in sage mode...congrats. For now." Jae was confused by this and looked at the more devious of her mentors. "What do you mean by that?" Jae asked, narrowing her eyes once more. It seemed like she was doing a lot of the often now. "The extent of how powerful you can be still depends on your own strength. Of course." Jae rolled her eyes. That was obvious.
She let herself ease out of sage mode, once she had safely landed on the ground. Her body sagged a little bit as the energy left her, Jae's features returning to normal. She was suddenly so very tired and so very hungry. Karu loomed behind her, offering her some support by acting as a large pillar. She was thankful for the assistance and leaned into him, closing her eyes. "I did it." The simple statement was her own mind wrapping around the concept. She actually succeeded. Something she hadnt intended on doing. The large owl chuckled. Now all three were on the ground with her, watching her. "We will part here. Take this new power and use it wisely..." Itsu warned her. Yata seemed to giggle and nudge her mate. "We will see you soon, fledgling. It's time for you to prey upon those who took your sky from you." She commented, her features arranging into something sharp and slightly intimidating. It was a side of Yata that had yet been displayed. Itsu moved so that he was nudging his pair bond, making her preen a bit from the affection. They nodded once to Jae and took to the sky, disappearing. Karu sighed, relaxing behind her. "They are powerful, despite appearance. They will be good allies to have on your side." He said to her. Jae nodded and then sighed. It was time to return. She bowed to Karu and said her good byes. Turning on her heel she stalked off, back to Konoha.
