An outpost hidden within the forest. Shinobi new to the anbu are assigned here often to help maintain border security. The outpost consists of a single story wooden building. The shinobi assigned here require food to be restocked once a month.

Noel entered the outskirts of his village and looked up to the outpost. Knowing the procedure, but rather distasting the individuals that stood over him, Noel showed his headband that laid tied to his right arm. Oh course, this wasn't nearly enough for them to let him pass as Noel finally seemed it was time to speak."Je m'appelle Noel St.Pierre."The child said duly, definitely not hiding his distaste for the ANBU as they made him wait five more minutes before admitting him past. The child mumbled other vulgar words under his breath in his language before continuing forth. Ready to see what has became of the village he departed quite some months ago.

In a swirl of ice, Orbezus arrived at the Border outpost. Checking in with the ANBU on duty, he grabbed a nutrition bar from the supply house before heading off at a sprint towards the Mansion. He finished the bar quickly and replaced the mask back on his face.

Taka moved through the outpost, her headband signaling to the guards not to stop her. She turned off the road at this point and started to head through the forest to move to her targets location. She pulled out her mask and slipped it over her face when she was deeper into the forest.

With a crack like a thunderbolt and a deafening roar, the Kyuubi burst forth from its prison. Its voice echoed across the countryside and its hatred, made manifest over the course of its imprisonment, spilled across the ground in a red and black mist that would completely engulf the forest in short order and threaten to spill over the walls into the Leaf Village. Plants would die and rot away as their Chakra systems were rendered useless, and anyone who entered the red fog would quickly succumb to a fever and be completely incapable of molding Chakra while inside the cloud. Now that it was free, the Kyuubi would look around for the target upon which it would exact its vengeance.

Noctis through the power of flight, arrived quickly at his destination. Seeing the Kyuubi up from far away and then up close was completely different. The beast was enormous, it made him wonder how they managed to seal it."Kyuubi!"His voice echoed out to the nine tailed fox making sure he heard him."You have been awakened from a slumber that should never have ended. Now I ask, will you go back to sleep peacefully?" It was worth a shot, if he could avoid fighting it and putting his shinobi lives on the line. He was also safe from the mist, flying high above it. He began moving off to the side of the kyuubi, so that if he attacked he could dodge without worrying about Konoha behind him. With his back facing a mountain he stopped awaiting the Kyuubi's response.

The Kyuubi's response was simple: a deafening roar and a look full of such potent hatred that it could have melted steel. A potent blast of Chakra would shoot through the area in all directions and hit anything physical like a ton of bricks. The walls would crunch, then most likely crumble if they were not immediately reinforced. The shockwave would push the poisonous fog out in all directions, including up and out, interrupting any Ninjutsu and Genjutsu and slowly rotting anything that came into contact with it. If no one were to stop it, the fog would quickly spill over into the Village.

Noctis heard the roar but he knew he must show no sign of weakness in front of the beast. Despite how loud it was he didn't react. He noticed the push of the fog and quickly distilled the air around him and released a burst of wind. Usually this would be used to knock someone away. Bit in mid air, with nothing to hold him down he used it to blast him self high into the sky. He look at the gates and noticed that they were dealing with the fog and the gates should be strong enough to withstand that attack. He then took air into his lung and breathed out a powerful bullet of wind that would head straight down upon the Kyuubi.

The Kyuubi followed the Hokage's path upward and saw the attack as nothing more than the attempts of a fly to bring down an elephant. Rather than bothering to defend against the attack, the beast opened its maw and launched six large lumps of Chakra in a narrow spread up at the man overhead. Each one flew with the power of a meteor and a fiery corona that could melt steel, easily shredding through the Atsugai and its explosion. Dodging the barrage, while difficult on its own, would not mitigate the danger of the attack, which would eventually drop on the countryside and the Village.

Noctis saw his technique have no effect on the Kyuubi. He then moved forward towards the attack. He swung his blade when he got closer to the narrow spread. He didn't want them to get to far apart with time. With his blade swing he unleashed an arc of chakra that would slice through every projectile on the way down to the kyuubi due to his advance on the attack his techniques would gain double the effectiveness and double the strength. The force of his cut would counteract the force that the kyuubi put into the projectiles. They wouldn't have enough momentum left to keep going and land on the surrounding countryside. Instead they would fall back down. But the Hokage wasn't done yet, using the kyuubi's own technique Noctis released a large gust of air pressure from his hand catching the meteors who would then accelerate towards the kyuubi and crash unto him and around him.

From the ready position, the user swings the blade he or she has chosen at a given target, sending a wave of energy in the direction of the swing that slices anything it hits in the way that the blade would. The technique starts out with a range of 5 meters, but increases by another 3 meters for every rank of speed added to it. This means that a Genin using this technique would only have a range of 5 meters, but that a Kage would be able to hit something 18 meters away. <---This doubles because of Advance of Steel, Kage can hit things 36 meters away.


Vorpal Blade-Passive

A passive technique that forces the user’s blade to act as if it were twice as sharp as it actually is. This makes it easy to carve through armor even without the use of techniques that do so, and those techniques become potent enough to slice through heavy armors.

Advance of Steel-Defensive Activation
Simple :: B-Rank
A very quick forward movement that doubles the strength and effectiveness of all offensive and defensive techniques and makes them very difficult to dodge by anyone of the user’s speed rank or lower.

Zankyokukuuha [ Extreme Decapitating Air Waves ]-Offensive Activation
Rank: C --> B rank due to Advance of Steel. Effectiveness of speeding up and powering the Kyuubi's attack back down is also Doubled.

The Kyuubi was slightly disappointed to see that its attack had been nullified and turned against him, and manifested this disappointment in the form of a small, highly dense ball of Chakra that it spat upward. Not even a second later, it would collide with the first of the meteors and detonate, filling the sky above it with a massive explosion of Chakra. This was a blast that could easily annihilate small Villages, and would easily blow away the meteors and, most likely, the Hokage as well. While the light filled the sky, the Kyuubi would circle around the Village at such speeds that it would become an orange blur, the ground crumbling beneath its feet.

Noctis could sense something coming from the Kyuubi, was it disappointment? He was interested that the beast could feel such emotion outside of anger and hatred. Noctis noticed something forming at its mouth and moved, he then completely destroyed the meteors creating a huge explosion. Instead of fighting it it let it carry him away getting him into a safe area from the man explosion. After that he saw the Kyuubi heading off towards the village."s**t." Noctis then flew behind the kyuubi as they soon reached the midnight forest.
