An especially cold wind wrapped around Mizuki and Toso. A half a second later Jeon landed between them from high enough in the air that the clouds covered her descent. She looked around, surprised to see no one else was actually there yet from Osiris. She tilted her hesd up, standingup yo peer as high as she could before the other three also came crashing down. Off timed as always. "Alright Mixuki, Jay spoke as he made his way over to her, armor making loud sounds with each step. "We dont have a lot of time. Enemy troops are coming from the east, and based on the amount, and where, weve figured where the Kumo ninja are. Theres no time to lose, so we're going to begin. Here is the map of troop locations and a key. After we recover them, Hino wants to go after the artillery and liutenants." With that he offered the map, nodded, and then turned towards Hino. With his sensory deadzone still actige, he was more than ready to get going.

As he took up his position at the outskirts of the outpost he watched as each of the teams sorted themselves out. With Osiris providing over watch he had faith that they would be able to rally unmolested. Facing the assault team he began,"Listen up. Seconds in command, Unki, Kenshin. Dont let me down. I will be coordinating both teams and moving between each team to provide support as needed. When we break cover and move on Seizen remember, WE set the tempo, WE set the pace. Do not over extend and let yourselves get surrounded. Rules of engagement are as follows. No quarter is to be given to those who surrender. We have neither the means nor time to take captives until the battle is over. If stragglers surrender then, your clear to capture them. Once the infiltration team succeeds ever single person in that village is a hostile. Do not hesitate, kill them, or they will kill you. You are clear to engage targets at your discretion. Corporals have two stripes on their left arm. Sergeants, three. Lieutenants a golden bar on their chest, lapels, or left arm. You may engage them at your discretion." For a moment he stopped and took a deep breath. When he spoke his voice was far colder then normal,"Captain Akagi is mine and mine alone. You will not engage him without me under any circumstances. Akagi has decades of experience and is quite adept at fighting shinobi." Once they understood this he would nod,"Questions?"

Shion listened intently to Shiro as he gave out his orders. Once again, she was Unki's subordinate in a rescue operation, but things would play out differently this time. They had a plan, they had support, and, most of all, Shion had faith in her superiors. Everything seemed simple enough, kill'em all and save the lads, but there were a few things Shion was still concerned about. Once prompted to ask questions, Shion raised her hand and spoke up, "Any news on enemy numbers or defensive structures?"
__ Kenshin felt as though dignifying Selina's statement that she would use the "best jutsu" with a response would be a humiliation so he let it fall by the wayside. To treat the silence was the arrival of Lord Chosokabe. Kosei turned to face him and stood at attention with rolled back shoulders. A spike of adrenaline surged through him when he was referred to as one of the second in command duo. He then concentrated keenly on the man's orders and subsequently repeated the information internally when the Raikage finished speaking. "Set the pace, do not get overrun, no mercy." Then he remembered the signifiers of the officers in the battalion. "Corporals with two stripes, sergeants with three, lieutenants with one gold bar. Do not engage the captain without the Raikage." With those mental notes made he saluted proudly before his Raikage. "Crystal clear, sir!" He had no further questions as the orders were far from overly complex. All he cared about now was fulfilling his duty, breaking into that village, and reinforcing his comrades.
He turned to his fellow KPD rookies and now battle sisters. "Rosewater, remember to use your support skills to help out the rest of the assault team." He stated to keep her focused on the objective before speaking once more after a moment of thought. "Don't forget to protect yourself too." Kenshin knew that this advice could not be overstated to the flower child. He looked towards Tsukiko next. "Asahina, stick to the front lines with me as you said." Ideally, he could take point with Tsukiko with Selina backing them up. Luckily, their original plans happened to collaborate well with their new orders from the Raikage. He looked up into the night sky and saw the stars which guarded the heavens of the Lightning Country. Kenshin gave a silent prayer that divine judgment would smite the UHV and their wickedness tonight. He then looked down once more to earth with determination and resolve.
Selina stood at attention when the Raikage spoke. At least he said something. Kenshin only wanted to talk about the mission. It was honestly more depressing than she thought was possible. She knew the situation was dire, but she needed to keep herself positive. She couldn't cave into her own despair once more. She had to help Ada. She had to save her. Her resolve spoke to her once more. Kenshin ordered her to stick behind with support while Tsukiko and himself took the front. She was alright with the plan, and awaited her squad to move.
The appearance of the twins was surprising but not undesired as it were. Still she wished that it could be under better circumstances. "Mmm... so adventurous~ though I wonder if you can handle that♪" Mizuki of course accepted the map and scanned over the contents of it. She knew well how the enemy troops would go about their movements and she also knew that if they lacked proper sensory equipment and observatory positions then there was a possibility that they could be flanked from the slope to the south. "Don't go anywhere boys~ I've got to relay some of this intel to the other leaders." With that she left her subordinates to their own devices for give or take the next five minutes.
Map in hand she walked over to where Shiro, Unki, and Kenshin all were. With a quick two fingered salute she held the map out for one of them to take. "Courtesy of the twins.. make of it what you will but there's a risk reward scenario on the table. With the UHV moving in from the east one of you assault squads could attempt some fancy moves♪ However the other squad would be left to hold the enemy's attention. In that time the second squad would flank them from the rear or the side by moving along the southern shelf before ascending the slope to the road. I'll leave it up to you three to decide." After one of them took the map Mizuki would walk back over to her squads.
Part of her hoped that one of the other three would decide against such a ploy. It was unlikely that they were strong enough to make such a risky play, and particularly because Unki was likely to be unreliable in combat. Part of her was deeply concerned for those under their commands if the two assault squads decided to attempt it. Still it was their choice to make, and her job to clean up the pieces. Which to that end it was time to mobilize her squad. "Time to move, we'll stick together for now and fan out when we get closer to Seizan. Kaso-kun that will be our base plan though don't hesitate to ask me for help or advice." He at least had some good senses when it came to medical care even if he tended to be nosier than he should be. [Exit]

It was as if her heart skipped a beat. She was somewhat taken back by the position she was given but Unki forbade herself from showing her surprise aside from a few flickering eye movements. Okay okay. No mercy until the conflict is over. Everyone who isn’t a cloud operative is a hostile target. The “air” about began to feel different. A sense of tension ebbed from Shiro’s orders that was cold, remorseless, and her hands would otherwise quake if not for the sight of allied faces around her. Seeing others who were in this with her was consoling to a degree. Alas, Unki was bound to her training to hold her composure and adapt sooner than later.
A fair question sprung from Shion: the defensive structures. It would be an utter headache to walk into some wild defensive device that seconded as an offensive mechanism and they walk blindly into it. ”Are these groups known to use trapping devices?” Unki’s knowledge on the form of weaponry at the disposal of this group was blank. Their ranking system sounded different and led Unki to imagine something different from what she knew Kumogakure was capable of.
Mizuki came. She offered a map to the assault groups. Unki was first to accept this map while the green-haired medic offered up more than a piece of paper. The option presented was something worth weighing as Unki didn’t know where she would fit, first and foremost. Nonetheless, her role was assisting lead into a direct assault and that was an entire weight all on itself. What was the other assault team suited for? Unki turned her sights square on Kenshin, ”where do you and your subordinates’ specialties hold?”

__ Kenshin's stone visage tilted towards a woman lime of hair. He silently appreciated the new intel that could change the tide of the battle on the horizon. Some new options for maneuvering were now on the table. When Amano accepted the map Kenshin's Byakugan darted pensively towards the paper. "Flank or distraction."He pondered the choices by weighing the abilities of his assault team. When the other second in command spoke to him he responded with a dutiful attentiveness. "Me and Asahina are skilled at close range while Rosewater is more skilled in support. I'm a Hyuuga and well-practiced in the gentle fist and the rapier." He gave a moment for Asahina and Rosewater to chime in with their own descriptions of their specialties. "And you?" Kosei inquired with a slightly arched eyebrow.
Well. Then that puts us on a similar level. Shion and myself are both close range oriented, last I checked. The tone of her voice lessened as she continued to spoke. Speaking so freely of her skills wasn't at all in her preferences but there had been no opportunity to work out these details before. I've got training in daggers, training in fire for reducing ground coverage, obscuring vision, wind manipulation training for constructing barriers..." Unki pressed a hand to her mouth in thought as she mulled over what words she should use exactly to further describe her resources. She turned briefly to observe anything she could possibly name about Shion's resources. Unki eyed a long sword at the girl's waist but didn't question much on it.
"Not sure how to describe the shakuton bloodline precisely. Singular and mass dehydration capabilities, I supposed would fit the bill." She furrowed her brow for a moment before snapping her fingers. She recalled something. "Fire proofing. I'd just gotta touch the appropriate person and partition the energy for it." Unki reflected on everything she just admitted, willingly, and began to feel fairly better about wondering if she and Shion were suited for the frontal assault. Disorient with a mass smoke screen and carry on from there on.

Shion gripped the hilt of her katana and gave Unki an affirmative nod. "Right, I prefer to get up close and personal." Listening intently to Unki's large grab bag of skills, Shion tried her best to tally up her skills to. Much to her chagrin, there wasn't much to draw upon. "I don't have much, but I'm good with a sword and I can make a rather large fireball." Compared to her partner, and she'd assume the rest of the assault team, Shion didn't have a lot to distinguish her above her peers. Well, there was one thing she had over a few of them... "I've also beaten one of these soldiers before, so I have an rough idea of how they fight." Even if it was just one encounter, she had managed to see a few of the UHV tools in action.
In the city proper, but definitely visible to everyone present, there was a massive lightning and fire storm that raged across the entire city. If it wasn't already clear from the echoing screams and visual destruction, war was certainly underway. Among the slowly dying out screams and moans, louder than the rage of fire and collapsing buildings, a distinct sound could be heard. It was like hearing whooping sounds from howler monkeys. The stealth part of the mission was over anyway, there was no reason not to go full chimp, or so the twins rationalized it. Even clad in heavy armor, naginata in hand, the twins still managed to be far and away two of the most acrobatic travelers. Hino and Oro, the Anbu who held seniority, had somehow been delegated the job of ensuring Ada and Hachiro made it back. Meanwhile, the twins were overly excited to hear that the four kumo nin had struck a blow against the UHV so early in the conflict, taking a whole 11 lives by triggering the trap Ada had prepared with such high level raiton. As such, as they drew nearer, the twins could be easily heard howling as they drew close.
Jay appeared first from the skies, offering a booming, deep roar while Jeon spiraled threw the air and landed just ahead of him, beating her upper chest with one fist while offering a banshee wail. Both of then also bore their sharpened canines and sported a sort of aura of deviant glee now that their masks hung from their faces. They quickly approached, expecting that the other four weren't too far off even though the twins more than specialized in traversing terrain like this, and stopped near Shiro. "Ada and Hachiro have been successfully retrieved, Raikage-dono. In addition, enemy numbers within have been eviscerated. Scarcely two enemy UHV shinobi have survived the trap set by Ada and Hachiro. Hence the fireworks." Jay would report, still smiling at the blow they had dealt to the enemy.

As his shinobi finished gathering up and finalizign plans, he turned his attention to the paper presented by Mizuki. The plan was a good one to be sure. But it presented a couple of problems given that he would have to send the first squad to flank and hold the city himself. Thought that problem was rectified quickly enough by. The twins appearing with excellent news. Smiling wide he patted Jay on her head and clasped Jeons shoulder with a nod,"I knew I could count on you. Now I am going to count on you again. Draw the attention of their artillery, and paint those barrels with their blood. Then deploy forward with Ada, Hachiro, and Axel. Decimate their third platoon." Facing Kenshin he nodded,"Deploy left, along the shelf. Draw the second platoon in. Engage directly if you have to, but keeping them busy is the key."
Though he was pulled from his commands by the sound of Mizuki's voice in his ear. Which meant that comms were in fact working.. A critical mistake, one he would punish them heavily for. "Medical. First objective secured and en-rout to you. Contact them directly and provide them directions. Osirus has orders for them if and when they are able." Taking a deep breath he adjusted his raikage cloak upon his shoulders. His advisors said it was foolish to wear it into combat but he would wear it proudly. Pressing his mic he spoke clearly and calmly, though his voice bore a tone much different from his normal passive carefree self. A tone of resolve,"All units. Now is the time of our reckoning. Let us step out of the shadows and into the spotlight. Strike with the might and ferocity of the lightning itself. Show them the war machines you have become, kill them all. Begin combat operations." Facing Unki and Shion he smiled,"Were going directly into Seizen. Head on assault, you two handle the last of the first platoon and I will engage Akagi."

Jay and Jeon high fived each other, happy to see that everyone was mobilizing and that they had gotten everything off to a solid start. Hino and Oro too recieved stingingly strong high fives from starry eyed Jeon and tengu smiling Jay. They all, however, got that much more serious when the orders came through. So they were going back on stealth mode for the moment, huh? Fine with them, as long as they were still able to shed some blood and make a helpful impact where the war itself was concerned. Through their own communicator, still in Jeon's ear, they could hear Shiro's mission directive to the others as well, but remained radio silent as they put their masks back up. "Four of us against 8 of them? Hardly seems fair," Jeon spoke as the group turned and she used her own nail to split open her thumb. She performed the handseals deftly, proving that they were indeed what they claimed as she slammed her palm against the ground and uttered the words "Kuchiyose! Yaioko! Come." In a puff of smoke, Yaioko, the B ranked Ape, appeared, his large arms crossed, sitting cross legged. He looked over his shoulder, all but bouncing to his feet.
"Son Goku, Son Wukong! We miss you back home." As he spoke, his heightened smell made him turn back to the flaming village. "Up to no good I see, how may I be of service." Jay and Jeon embraced either side of Yaioko before putting fingers to their lips. "Enemy soldiers threaten our home, and we are outnumbered here. I need you to support myself and our allies. It's a stealth mission, so do you think you can keep up without being too loud?" Yaioko nodded his head, rubbing his hands together. "Ready Jeon? It's time to use that technique." Jay asked. Jeon's smile intensified several times as she grabebd Jay by the shoulders almost foaming with excitement. She would quickly meld into Jay's body, the two of them suddenly hunching over in their merged body. Yaioko beat his chest one time in respect at the sight as The masks revealed that their eyes changed to a brighter brown and their physique increased visibly. A slight, red aura came over the twins, the ground rumbling a bit as they upped their power level significantly, beginning to crul the shared body and flex every muscle. They stood with a jerk, suddenly releasign a burst of pure chakra that would feel as if a rough breeze that shoved away all the snow. When the eyes could refocus, Son Goku, Sage Mode would be before them. Hino and Oro too were shocked at the sight of their feet becoming hands, like a chimps, and patches of fur on either side of his neck becoming visible. It was like watching a bullet when they took off, taking a path threw the flames carefully, avoiding enemy contacts now that they could simply sense them with Hino, Oro, and the summoned Ape in tow, trying to keep up as best they could. There lingered the scent of smoke on the breeze. Unki could see smoke billowing over with a great surge of heat. She held her breath against the wind and allowed her sights to linger over what she could see upon the on-going rage from the group's distance. With their current location widely obscuring the view of the fiery onslaugh, Unki didn't expect to or immediantly want to see much else. The situation was already a heavy weight on her shoulders with this being such a monumentous escapade into battle.
The order was given to begin by Shiro who seem to carry a sense of vigor fueled by the city's pyre. The wafting smoke was passing with the wind. Unki took another breath, took a good solid look at the second assault team to memorize their faces before leaving them, and nodded when she returned her focus to Shiro. "Ready."

__ Kenshin stood quietly as he listened to the ability descriptions from Unki and Shion. He took note of their skills and areas of expertise as they could prove useful for tactical operations. Suddenly, booming explosions began overwhelming his senses as he squared his stance and braced himself. When the twins arrived from the skies he listened to ensuing report. His heart skipped a beat and he felt awash with relief when he heard that Ada was retrieved. He felt particularly tense from the unanswered question of whether or not that half of his squad was still alive and now that weight had been lifted from his shoulders.
He stood to attention when he was addressed by the Raikage with his orders. "Understood, sir!" Kenshin saluted once the orders were received with urgency before he turned to Selina and Tsukiko. "Move out!" The soldier quickly marched left along the shelf towards the farmlands. "Keeping them busy is the key."Kenshin thought as he stuffed the map he received in his jacket and moved towards the ordered location.
