glitterboypilot I am just going to ask, what is an Anima rpg? I have never heard of it before. Its a Spanish made RPG that was recently translated into english. It is like DnD, but focuses more on the fantasy world aspect.

I've looked at the book. The character creation section is absurdly dense. I walked away from a casual flip-through with the feeling that I could get the same sort of game feel from a Gestalt 3.5 game or Exalted, with much less complexity.
One of these days, I'll see if I can get into a demo game of it at a gaming con to see if it's worth learning, but as of right now, I just can't see the point in picking up a $60 book that's as thick with basic character building as that one is...

Unlike Ms. Sakura, I was foolish enough to BUY the book. I tried to make heads or tails of character creation, to no avail.
It definitely strikes me as something that makes a LOT more sense once you've done it once or twice. But it's gonna be a headache those first couple times X_x
