I don't get angry at many bosses, but Vanitas' Lingering Spirit in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep makes me want to kick puppies.
Especially considering I beat him without too much trouble with both Ven and Aqua...but I can get nowhere with Terra.
Terra sucks. He's slow, his Dash sucks, his Block sucks, he has no good unique abilities, and goddammit, his Magic stat sucks.
It also doesn't help that Vanitas will always always always one-shot or two-shot you. And will always be right. Behind. You.

Nightmare was a ******** roadblock for me when I was a kid and Metroid: Fusion first came out. And for that matter, Ridley in any low-health Metroid run gives me s**t.
I still haven't beaten the final boss of Dragon Quest IV. He's not necessarily tough, per se, he just has like five different forms and I didn't have the patience to grind up to beat him to see an ending I knew anyway.
Everything in the Etrian Odyssey series and the entire last dungeon of Zelda II.

The final boss in Conan for the 360 and PS3 was a huge c**t and it took like twenty minutes to beat him even if you were fully upgraded and dodged all his attacks. He has a whole bunch of tentacles you have to dodge while you try to turn a bunch of cranks and he also sends shadow monsters after you. Really annoying since you don't get to use any of your awesome brutal powers on him or the enemies in that level.

I recall some serious raging that occurred when I was battling Slogra in Super Castlevania IV. He wasn't the most difficult boss I've ever taken on, but he was definitely infuriating.

I've been fighting that same battle. The problem is that there's such a ridiculous level gap between him and all the gym leaders and elite four members. PRO TIP: Ice is quadruple effective against Garchomp.

Zelkiiro Real Horrorshow Groodies PRO TIP: Ice is quadruple effective against Garchomp. This is one of the reasons HeartGold and SoulSilver piss me off: I WANT MY GLACEON, b***h. Yeah, I would have liked to train a Glaceon. It's kind of dumb to make it 4th gen specific.
