Hello my fellow Geezers,
Today I woke up and found out I am now 50!! eek
It's not like a total surprise, I have known it was coming but, it is now here.
Yup half a century. More years behind me then ahead of me.
Do I look behind me thinking of things I, shoulda, woulda, coulda, done? Do I look ahead at the few years left, and think of things I'll never get to do?
I cannot do anything to change my past. In the here and now I can only ask those I've hurt to forgive me. Give a thank you to those that have helped me and made me smile.
As for the future, well no one can be sure of their next breath.
So I guess I will continue to live; each day as it comes,
love; my family and friends with all my heart,
and laugh every chance I get.
Laughter does a heart good; like medicine.
